Sounds good to me.
I'm curious as to which map we'll be playing.

Validon,
I think GM Andy/Funty's game will be for fun, Vets vs Newbies, no VP's at all.
Matts game is for real (from what it sounds like) so you will enter that one with the chance at VP's. Just remember not to mail him prior to it opening on the Kaobase. Nothing is more frusterating that players pushing a GM who voices what his plans are.
Cheers,
Raw

Well, this looks like its going to be a good time........and it makes no difference to me if there's no VP's involved, playing for the fun and bragging rights is enough for me! Not that I'll be doing much braggin, I hardly ever rub stuff in or talk smack......right Undertaker?

Funtastick is going to run the game. He would like to get turn #00 run this weekend but wants us to pick a map. I think trewgh mentioned the Austrian map. This will work just fine. If a Vet will confirm that this map is OK for you guys I will let Funtastick know and he can get things started.

I think we all agree that VP's are not needed in this game. Giving the Old Boys a thorough beating will be price enough!
So, when do we start? Now?
Now?
Now?
Now?
An so on... This
will be fun!

Wow- never thought one small post would turn into this.
Good-
am I to understand there is two games of us vs. them?
maybe the best from both games can compete in all out
war for vp's in a final contest? just a thought, think I should
learn to keep my mouth shut
also a name vs name for us to come up with would be real cool
i like noobs don't like babies can we come up with a
name for our team? what you guys think?

Group#05 is up and ready to go. Follow the link through Kaobase to get to the site, or click on this link, whatever:
http://www.gm-andy.0catch.com/group05.html
please please PLEASE check to make sure the information I have down for you is correct. I'm pretty sure about all the vets, but since I don't know you beginners, I had to go searching for information and I may have messed up.
I have sent out a group e-mail, if you did not recieve it, PLEASE e-mail me back at
Funtastick86@hotmail.com or
gm_andy@kaomaris.com. I'm not sure if I got the latter one correct, so use the former, just incase
Since it's a "clan war" I will not be re-running turn 00 to even out positions...whatever you get you're stuck with. Best of luck, and may the most creative team win!

Nope. Only 1 noob/vet game, which Andy/Funty will be running.
I will open a normal WOK4 game in a couple days.

Could i not be placed too close to Mullog please...he's got the knowledge of the Guard so that could be tricky.

Hmmm...?
He's still a newbie!
No problem. If you start close to him we will give you advice: "Getting rid of TKG for dummies"

I thought everyone new that one!

Lol, is that the book you read for our little skirmish in Ryan's 07? Well at least you didn't have to worry about me afterwards, you even had more time to concentrate on your other games after two rounds.

This makes me feel like I'm cheating... You see, I am not a complete newbie...
Back in '99 I used to play some WOK4. At that time WOK4 was brand new and the only GM around was Al I think.
Of course, it is so long ago that I have forgotten most of how to play WOK. So I am a newbie. But still, I might have some old forgotten strategy to surprise you all with...
Or maybe not. But I do have access to the Kaomarian Guards Huge Library of Excellent Tactics and Strategies. So watch out!

Mullog,
Ja'Dad is not a complete newbie either. Almost 2 years ago him and I battled in GM Ingrids game that ended up not finishing for other reasons.
Cheers,
