So Im standing at Sycamore and 82nd, and Im a Bloodsucker now

(better then 'Mosquito' lol)

Seems I wont make a lot of friends for now, as I mostly drank from other Vampires (which I heard now is considered to be a no-no, better just drink from humans for a start)

Maybe I could use the powers of the WOK community to help me ?

Anyone finding out anything post it here plz !

Read this:

The City

The city has 100 streets crossed by 100 streets; the streets in one direction are numbered, those in the other are named in near-alphabetical order; the first fifty are alphabetical trees and animals, the second half are alphabetical minerals and malaise. Navigation is, therefore, mostly quite easy. NOTE! They are not in alphabetical order, they are in two sets from A-Z, one in the west half, one in the east. As a vampire, you stalk the humans on the streets. If there are many vampires gathered within a single square, no more can move there until it's cleared out. Streets are indicated by grey squares, with signs at the intersections. Black squares between streets indicate blocks of buildings, which you can pass through in the alleyways. Blue squares indicate impassable regions - either they are overcrowded, on the edge of the city, or some other reason.

So being at SYCAMORE (a tree I guess) and 82nd means I almost at he bottom of the western city part, right ?
Ive started to draw a grid in Excel, send me a mail with your infos or post it here. Ill make it available when we have some useful info on the city map.

Like this:

1- intersection of 82nd and (streetname)
P - Pub
B - Bank

That could be fun.

PS: Im down at -3 Action Points !

Whos playing tricks on me....

("If you refresh the page several times without moving, it costs an action point (because of some players refreshing repeatedly so as to be able to rob people who entered their square, without having to spend action points moving - which caused unnecessary server load). Also, asking for directions or travelling on transit cost several action points, and are possible whenever you have any action points, even if not enough")

** UPDATE2:

Dont use the same IP adress/PC to create dozens of dummy vampires. This leads to nothing, as they only count 1 Vampire per IP. You can also not use them to drink from them, as they are 'protected' if they dont have at least 3 pints of blood.
Creating dummy vampires may also quickly lead to have your real Vampire deleted....

Oops, I missed that part. Oh well, too late.

BTW, I'm on Alder, between 59th and 60th. One block west is the city limits.

Im sure there are maps out there to help us, but I dont feel like joining a Yahoo Group right now, so anyone that can come up with a map is welcome to send it to me or post it somewhere.

It also seems that the guilds are moving their location all the time so those will be hard to find.

Trees and Animals are WEST, Minerals and Malaise EAST.

Therefore you should be East of me. Im still moving up and east, we can meet somewhere in the middle around 65 street I guess.

The barman says "The closest shop to here is Paper and Scrolls, right by Willow and 65th. I do wish those dangnabbit magic shops would stay still for a while."

The Magic Shop cannot be found at 65th and Willow - guess it has moved or this was false info.

Thos Magic Shops are known to be tough to find, or maybe I missed it.

New info:
