Well right up there with "Never start a major land war in Asia" & "Never go against a Sicillian when death is on the line" is "In a multi-way struggle Never obviously be the most powerful."

The TKG bought it upon themselves...

All I can say is that you brought that on yourselves. You and Smashface were both sitting happily and didn't need to fight, but I suppose if you hadn't have jumped in then Massie would still be there. I know SF has taken a lot of my territory and has paid a price for it, and Duke hasn't reappeared with the masses of armies that I expected him to, so you must be weaker than I originally thought :dizzy: "I shouldn't have said that. Well, I am not going to reveal anything since I would then break CH's rule up there

Let's just say that the bad weather and bridges rule combined with a wrong prediction from my side moved my main army to a place they shouldnt be.

To the rest of you I would like to use an old Kaomarian saying:

The TKG doesnt start wars. We end them......
First one here, last one to leave.

On occasion. But adding that sort of takes the "Clint Eastwoodness" out of the quote dont you think?

Time for some updated odds.

Egbert 2-1
Nemesis 3-1
Smashface 4-1
Saladin 5-1
Raw 5-1
Duke 6-1
GoatHerder 7-1

Place your bets folks or feel free to update the odds, as I shouldn't be doing them as I am playing in the game!

Cheers,
Raw

Egbert 2-1
Nemesis 2-1
Smashface 5-1
Duke 6-1
Saladin 10-1
GoatHerder 12-1
Raw 25-1 (shows what happens to your odds when you get attacked by Egbert :) ).

I have a question about the Champs game.

I know that one of the players in this game at one point tried to use the "Z" and "H" attack options (attack with all but one unit, and attack with half the units), but the options didn't work. I could have sworn that we are playing with the WOK5 Version where these options would work. Also, the AOF Sender has these options in it.

What's the deal? :anxious:

the version that works with the "H" and "Z" is version 3.2 and 3.25 the only GM's running games with those engines are me and Paul at the moment... (correct me if i'm wrong)

Ive had to clear that up two times already.

SF is correct, the new attack options were only introduced in V3.20

If you are uncertain about any updates and changes always check the WOK5 history page plz.

Other topic: another error from the database because a player again put two emails there to forward the orders to.
Last time I cleared that up, next time no orders will be delivered.

I haven't changed the manager version since the game started, and I link directly to the online AOF sender which Al kindly provides, which gives order options in the most recent version. I can understand where there is confusion, but I'm not going to bother maintaining a different AOF for every version I have a game running under at a given time. It' a pain in the ass, and frankly not my responsibility. It's up to the players to check their TRs and know what version they are playing under and what rules are in use. (As Al said, check the history page)

I'm playing in 3 WOK5 games right now. There are certain things I copy from the turn report to my summary page that I review for each turn. Right at the top of that page, from the turn report, is the version running for that game.

Nick 29 - using v3.05
Taker 05 - v3.07
Paul 03 - v3.25

I have a note with each game to remind me which options are NOT available for that game. The one saving grace here is that ALL of them use the update where not paying your troops will negate the LVL aim.

Nick is correct. It is up to the player to know the rules for the version of each game they are playing in.

Nick may be correct but this doesnt strike you as odd:
Nick 29 - using v3.05
Taker 05 - v3.07
Paul 03 - v3.25
Are you in three games that are similar or three games that are different?

If you ask me there are a tad too many versions to keep track of. Unless you are born with a suit and tie and a love for bringing order to the world then you will soon loose track of what rules apply where.

Can our struggling heroes :gossip: pull together to fight off this evil menace? :smokingdevil:

Or will it be too late to save the World from the clutches of the Kaomarians?

Tune in next week........same bat time.........same bat channel!!! :biglaugh:
