Perfect comedy timing, trewqh. We could make an Englishman out of you yet!
Oh yes, and welcome, Celerian!
(While I don't mind what name people take, certain names suggest a player is taking the game more seriously than others. This in turn could affect how I deal with them in game. - Point in fact, it took me longer to take Smashface seriously than it did Vortan. I have never taken Donut seriously.)

Han I was pulling your leg about Hannibal as I read every ancient history book I can get my hands on fact or fiction. Maybe one day I'll become a Scholar (not that kind
![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
) and take more related degrees, or maybe I'll just continue to read..
Given more time I'd of elaborated on my response from up there ^ (no further up). The idea that Han presented regarding appropriate nicks is good. It certainly got me thinking about some stupid names I have seen in others online games eg poobumwee, oneofway, al the l33t ones and the rude ones, must I continue. With a simple worded inclusion on the join up page it could prevent players joining with those ridiculously unimaginative nicks. It's not difficult afterall

take me seriously now? actually i came up with that name when i was perhaps 12 years old, and if anyone hasn't noticed my creative ability is pretty much nil, though i do have a few good names now in my later years but now it is not an issue because people bow to my strength wherever i choose to stroll around.

They're not bowing - they're doubling up with laughter

Now WHY did it do THAT!

I usually prefer to grovel instead of simple bowing when it comes to Smashface.
And talk about groveling...where's Raw? I haven't seen him around since the word toy got censored.
PS: Yep still censored...got i hate censorship.

WHOO... ::wipes a tear:: heeheehee... that was good. Got my kids to run in from the other room and ask me what I was laughing about. Korexus is right about the timing part, timing is 95% of comedy. I would say something disparaging about English Comedy... but I can't deny the Monty Python spam skit. I got nothin.

My nick is also based on a failure, although of a different type than Han's. I would guess that most of you know the story well.

Hmm, failure?
I know where your nick 'comes from', but I didn't remember there was a story to it...

Mullog did say "of a different type". I think the indivudal character had one or two failures along the way...

The story wasn't a failure, but there was this guy in the stories that failed miserably in his quest.

I think he actually succeeded in his quest in the end...though he didn't get to enjoy the success for long.
