New Addition to the WOK Family

sorry all.... but after a year and seven weeks I couldn't keep it under wraps any longer.... if Smashy hasn't told you already....


I'M A FATHER! :wink: :shock:

The cute one in the middle was born on Feb 25th 2005 at 1:32 am Central Standard Time. He weighed 8lbs 4.5 oz and measured 20 inches in length. He has a partial ASD Canal which means the wall that separates his Atriums or upper chambers in his heart isn't fully developed. However he is doing well and is now 7 weeks old as of the time of this posting. He is now 22 1/4 inches long and weighs 9 lbs 3 oz (as of Tuesday). His name is Ryan Michael. As things stand right now my personal life is a little busy but I hope to get back into the swagger of things soon.

Fantastic! Congratulations. I remember it well ( I now have 4 little ones, but the first ......).

Just think, one day you'll be able to point out through your vitual HQ window and say "This is known as Ecrivian's Land, and, one day, you'll arise to recapture it!!"

Just kidding, Ec, I hope you don't take offence -- you joined in with me brilliantly in good spirit when I wrote up the genesis of the Vulkings arriving and looking for the coast of Kaomaris known as Ecrivian's Land .....for an easier passage for their poor troops. So, no offence.

Anyway, the Big Thing is, congrats! Puts everything else into perspective, doesn't it?

I have 3 boys of my own and I still find time for WoK, it's just that it is usually after 10:00 pm and before 2:00 am.

If I can do it, you can too.

Seriously.

I just checked Ec's homepage and I need to give him GREAT cudos on all the work he puts into this.

Sweden is quite unique when it comes to children. The government pays for almost one year for the mother (or father but mostly the woman stays home).

I hardly work at all (when I do I play WOK) and we still get like 6000 Euros a month so we get by.

Hang in there Ec. You have a fan in me.

Duke - My website is only simple coding nothing fancy. Remember Duke a long time ago you had a post about an evil cat looking in on your child? Well I've got a one year old farmcat named FLETCH and she is evil nipping constantly at everyone's heels. Fans are cool but I'm a bigger Duke fan than you are an Ec fan I'm sure

Hey, just a noob here saying congrats. I'm with Donut on this one, I get myself in enough problems just goin to school, I know I couldn't work two jobs and have a kid on top of it! Kudos to you man.
