How come Ar-Sereg Vp's got carried over to Valn Ohtar. Well that what I assume happened?

dangnabbit, you beat me to it! (I stopped to read Tristao's posts, I'd forgotten how much fun they were...)

Long story short; Dameon said he was going to do it, lots of people said he couldn't, he did it anyway, we all carried on arguing well into the night.

Happy days! :)

It's pretty simple actually. Strider and I were the last two members of Ar-Sereg. We decided it would be best to re-write the charter for the clan and reinvent it so as to give it a spark. With the help of Bjorn and Raven, we did just that, and Ar-Sereg was rechristianed as Valn Ohtar and opened recruitment for new members, of which we got two very good beginners in Hannibal and Validon. Some people felt that I shouldn't be allowed to change the clan name, but there's no rule against it, so yes, in the end that is what happened. I'd also like to mention that there were just as many people supporting it as the "lots" (and by lots, I assume you mean the 4-5 folks who spoke out against it) opposing it, Kor. And in fact, X-Wing, it's basically the same thing that happened when you renamed the Royals RFF, so you of all people have no room to complain. Bottom line, this argument was had and I am not going to have it again for your entertainment X-Wing, so that is that.

Although- I would like to say after reviewing the thread (thanks for the link Donut!) Egbert had some very good ideas about clans and membership rules that he wanted to propose the WSC, but they never came to fruition for some reason. If you wanted to bring any of those up for vote to the WSC Eg I for one would support you, they made sense.

That Dameons way of saying he hasnt a foot to stand on!! I have plenty to room to complain. When I took over RFF it was a chnage of leadership. Tha Clan remained the same. The background story remained the same, I extended it. The members remained the same, I extensively discussed the extension of the name with Queen Pea before doing it. (Would not have done it without her agreement) In essence the name was not a change at all it. It went from "The Royals" to "The Royal Warriors". I certainly would have no arguements with you ressurecting "Ar-Sereg" as "The Ar-Sereg Warriors" as it would be painfully obviously they were the same clans.

Now I may be wrong in this point as it is a long time ago but when I took over the RFF I believe the only person with a VP was me. How many VP's did Ar-Sereg have Dameon?

Your 2 clans are simply too unalike but hey you wouldnt feel right at the bottom of the ladder would you dameon, we alllll understand that

Ben, like Nick said this has been discussed over and over. Bottom line is no rules are in place that say that this is not allowed. And by the fact that nobody has even made a proposal to the WSC to get it sorted out i would say nobody really sees it as a big enough problem.

I'll join you Ben. That will at least give you a legit shot at getting CON's points since I was a founding member of that one.

NOPE, Nick your too late. I already claimed them for myself. Now the only person who can take them from me would be Calidus but he would have to form a new clan to get them. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Now If TK joins us Ben maybe we can figure out a way to take the Scholars VP's right out from under them. Wouldn't that be fun.

Sorry Oggy Doggy but, now that Calidus is with First Family he can roll those ex-Con VP's in with our exisisting ones.

Stop it you lot, I'm on the floor in stitches here! Due to the great response to 'a joke' I will actual form the 'The Square of 144'.

So I need 3 (re-)founding members, Nick you're not invited. TK, Underdog, you interested or you just joking?

Anyone else. We need 4. Preference will be given to those with a strong dislike of Nick.

Going to throw a webpage up at the weekend.

Dont tempt me to join.

Given your preferences you might get loads of applications.

Anyways, I came to the conclusion that those ex-Clan VPs are just that - HISTORY. I prefer to look into the future.

A few new Clans cant be bad either. And if it means TK stays around its really good. Good luck with it, folks.

You would be more than welcome Al. The VP's may well be history but I am reforming 1 of the most sucessful clans in the histry of kaomaris so it is important that them VP's get put to "The Square of 144" in kaohalla, I'll let bjorn know when everything is up and running.

Incidently I cant wait to see what lame story I can come up with why Circle of 9 became Square of 144

Ben

Preference should also go to people who once started a clan. If we could get Fredo too we'd have about 90% of the VPs in WOK. LOL

I think if I did this the Scholars would have my balls.
