The Elimination Chamber

Post by Undertaker » Wed Nov 05, 2003 12:55 am

10 will enter enter, but only one walks out.

Here we go with my first X-Game.

The "X":

-Only one player per clan
-Only one winner. That player will get 2 VP's
-The map has 40 provinces
-Headhunting is allowed

Wow.

Reminds me to update the Map Central with the 3 or 4 maps I have stored on my harddisk.... somewhere.... 8)

Cool idea, and nice X-game. I just would wish mapmakers would refrain from doing maps with less then 60 (70 for WOK5) Provinces - the number is there for a reason, and has a big influence on how games are to be played.

But I welcome your efforts and will seek to have a DOW member in there asap !

Yes, it's true folks.

I was going to use the Slaughterhouse map, but Dom no longer has it. I figured if I made a new map, I might as well rename it.

Nice idea Taker. There are some questionable connections, though, on the map. What's the story with provinces touching? For example, does 13 touch 16 or 20? Do 10 and 16 touch? etc.

Do you guys REALLY want me to suggest a new WSC rule that the number of Provs in a map has to be 60/70 ALWAYS...? Dont tempt me.

Looking back at that Missilemania game I think we ran into some.... uhum.... problems, no ?

*Laughs at Smashie: 4 new refs in IPTL today (Total: 448), 2 in Annies (Total: 14) and ECF went bankrupt, just like Ive been preaching on the getforum boards for weeks (that fact alone brought me 3 new refs from frustrated ECF users LOL)*

Missilemania has 60 provinces. The only "bug" was a extra"," at the end of a line.

13 touches both.
Any two borders that touch are neighbors.

For example: 16 would have as its neighbors 02,13,20,19,40,10,14

likewise for 09: 08,12,02,15,10,11

and 04: 07,03,21,13,02,12

however 14 and 40 would not be neighbors
