Updates

Post by korexus » Sat Apr 19, 2008 2:48 pm

2 new additions.

The give button on your items list finally works. Select the item that you want to give, then choose the player you want to give it to from a select box. Note that you can't give away equipped items. You must be in the same square as the recipient (or both in the city).

In the same spirit, you can now transfer gold between bank accounts. Just choose the amount and the player you want to give it to. You'll get a confirmation dialog, just to make sure you meant to do it.

Slowly getting through the list!

I haven't done anything, to trace the gold, but I can confirm that giving gold to Lardmaster does work. (You have an extra 2 gold in your account, LM.)

Are you sure that:
- You chose the right player from the list.
- You typed in the right amount.
- You had enough gold in your bank account to cover the transaction.
- Lardmaster isn't mistaken (or outright lying! :P ) about not having got the cash.

A little one and a medium one.

The little one is that monsters now have a sensible plural for they're names, so guardsmans are now guardsmen, etc. (It was just annoying me...)

The medium one is trap types. There are now several types of trap on treasure chests, which have differing results if you set them off. Some traps will destroy the treasure, most will damage you in some way, but it should help keep life interesting. Any player with some thief skill can identify the trap type. - So you know whether to risk opening it...

Well, it's been a little while, but I dragged myself back.

Praying to the Gods in the temple will now affect your alignment. - If you constantly ask the evil gods for help, then you will shift towards that alignment.

The bonus blessings are also here. Each God grants a different type of blessing, but only to worshipers with a similar alignment and only to people who donate more than they need for healing. The more gold you donate the higher your chance of being blessed.

To reflect the higher gold amounts, at higher levels you need to donate more and more gold to get the same effect.

Your behaviour in the field will also affect your alignment, but I haven't got that far yet.

[edit]Attacking or opening the chests of peaceful monsters will now have an effect on alignment. The amount will depend on the ratio between levels.[/edit].
