Duel between Dragonette and trewqh
OK, Dragonette, I'm ready!
Which map would you like to use?
Would any GM be willing to run the Duel for us?

I'd be delighted to. That's what I'm here for. Are you guys talking Full Duel or Lite? And let me know the map you'd like.
I'm about to set up a Duel-Lite between TBert and Vortan (a friendly revenge-chance after some main 10-player battles). That still leaves Lord Fredo free for a game of, (he said), Full Duel. I don't think Dragonette ought to take up both simultaneously (unfair on her victims!), so there is still a slot for someone to face Fredo. Did I put people off by kidding about how invincibly god-like LF was? He's good but not invincible ... and hasn't played a Duel before ... and is probavbly up for a Duel-Lite rather than a Full duel if you prefer.
Right, 2 games to set up, plus one looking for a second player, v Fredo. Great. I hope everyone enjoys the ride. After all, in Duels, you start out with a 50/50 chance rather than 1-in-5 ?!? And, so far, the player losing nearly always enjoyed the game nearly as much as the winner.

About facing Fredo in a Duel: to be honest, I was rather looking for another veteran returner who might want to face him, both of you trying a Duel for the first time, both trying to apply your Standard skills, first time, to a Duel game ... eg AG or so?? Just asking.

What I want to know is what are they teaching my daughter (Dragonette) at high school if she can manage to be online between 2.15pm and home time???????
So much for a quality education.
As for the TBert duel - Han - Stop typing and start Reffing ... sheesh, you just can't get the staff these days don't you know.

Now WHY did it do THAT!

I can imagine your school-projects "Habitat" and "Population" presentations, Dragonette:
"Population" : this refers to how may Pop you have in any given prov that you own or aim to own. Population is only good for drafting into armies or forcing into working. Letting them stay as population and breed might be what THEY would prefer, but is usually a waste of resource for you as a Warlord ....
"Habitat": this refers to the composition of the provinces you own. Some of them are just dross, no armies or workers at all, and hardly any population to care about, and you'd rather they got invaded or destroyed; but some of them are highly productive and valuable ....
I can just see your teacher's face ....
OK, OK, I'll stop just typing and set up the Vortan/TBert game, OK, OK.
