Well, maybe this is a bit early, but would the winners of the clan champs like to go in a show down with BoV to see who the REAL Clan Champs would have been if this system were set up the right way?

Set up the right way? Two leagues ... leaders in each league play in a champs game. Seemed like a pretty simple way to do it -- just like thousands of other league systems work.

It had benefitted the BoV the previous 2 seasons ... but now that it didn't it's suddenly a broken system?

Considering we're undefeated and that we're almost guarenteed a spot in the next one already only a month into the season, yes.

First point has no bearing -- you folks are great at clan wars, no doubt about it. However, since you weren't the clan with the most VPs in your league this past season, means that you miss out on the big dance this time around. That's not a broken system -- everyone knew the rules -- that's simply not doing as well as CoN did at collecting VPs during the season.

Second point ... well, it has no bearing either. Under the new system, if things continue as they have gone so far for your clan, you'll be in the champs game next time around. Under the previous system, the same would hold.

Point is, in this past scoring period, the 2 teams with the most VPs are in the champs game ... how can that be wrong (expect, of course, in your eyes that BoV isn't one of them)?

I still think it's simply sour grapes to be griping about not getting into the clan champs game this time around. You've had your fun, and will have it again ... in the meantime, bit your quitchin' and let us and CoN have our turn at it.

Doing trig homework now and don't have time to comment on everything, just going to say I find it silly a clan can be named clan champ without beating the previous champs.

Funty, when that issue came up earlier I kept my mouth shut, because, while I didn't agree with you, I knew you believe it is the right thing and you want the best for our clan. But...

It was impossible to change the rules before ending the last score period anyway. The rules were as they were and both CoN and the Scholars managed to beat us with the rules that were valid for the last scoring period.

On the other hand, I also thought about challenging this scoring period's Clan Champ. Just to show that if it wasn't for Tyler's 3/Fredo's 10 and some other we won lately running longer than they could we would win the title!

So let's leave the subject of rules and wait for one of the clans to win the Champs and then show them who RULEZ!

Well, give it a week or two and the Scholars will be the REAL clan champs. Fighting BoV wouldnt change that. And anyway, the Scholars do have some other Champs game to worry about, what with 4 of us being in there (as things stand). How many BoV members are going to be in the Champs?

Okay ... last time, really slowly, with an example thar will hopefully make sense to you: Is it silly that Tampa Bay was named last season's NFL SuperBowl winner without playing the previous year's winner? This is a season-by-season title -- top 2 VP-scoring teams play for it.

In any case, setting up and accepting of a clanwar needs to be done through clanheads -- and since neither of us current fit that title, I guess this means LF will need to contact Raw about it.

Um, I guess we could all voluntarilly surrender now. But apart from that, I'm not sure we *can* lose the champs!

Hey, Underdog. How are you looking forwards to our nice little 5 on 1?

I just have to add for the record that I personally, neither does the Brotherhood as a clan, contest the validity of the soon to be Clan Champion of this past season.
However, I have argued for a changing of the setup of the clan system. This has now taken place and I welcome it since I think it's a fun moment for the game to let the ruling champions defend their title.
As valid as Brykovians analogy might seem there is still an important objection to be made. The main argument for the system suggested by my clan mates is off course that, why should the ruling individual champ get a "free ticket" to the next finals a year later while the clan champions can just get booted out after six months?

Well, if there were 10 clans participating in the Clan Champs, I'm sure the reigning clan would get a free ticket. However, since there are only 2 slots, you have to earn it.

Trewqh.....just so you know, I did not die in the previous Clan Champs nor has my team lost in a Clan Champs match up. :mrbanana:

Funty.....you just don't get it cause you didn't win. :baby:

BoV.....I think I'll wait a month or 2 before I accept any clan war challenge from you as we may be the top 2 scoring clans in the end, and what fun would it be for BoV to lose 2 times in a row?

Until next time....

Sorry man, I wasn't sure of it. I still get the impression we lost one player. Hmm maybe because I didn't take part in any fighting and remembered that we won a fight of 4 against 5. (Not counting spies of course)

I think we will challenge the winner anyhow. And about those two loses... we'll manage :P

It's not like I'm lobbying to get the rules changed now so that we somehow could try and be 3-time clan champs. As for your NFL example, they have playoffs, another check to show they deserve to be there, it's not just regular season.

I talked with Moses a couple days ago at school and he came up with this, which sounded like a good idea. Each scoring period, we set up a tournament style bracket, 10 clans for each WOK IV and WOK V. They play through the brackets and there you have it. Order ranked by how you do in the "regular season." Take it or leave it, although I already know the answer.

I suppose you will run all those games then ? Nice, when do we start ! :P

Seriously, I will post about new GMs tomorrow, and how we need them badly.

A few other issues are cooking up too, I need to write a few things down.

I'm game for running about 2 more games right now. I would say more, but just take a look at my group 04, I'm incredibly pissed off about it. Other than that, bring on the newbies :)

Few other issues? Ruh Roh!
