TK what makes an X-Game?
We got to pick the map and chose that one for a change of pace. The suggestion was made to give everyone enough corn to last more than 3 turns since there is no crop to begin the game. I don't see that it is an X-Game unless by giving out enough corn to last a few turns makes it that way. I don't think you need to worry about corn anyway you will be gone before you can use much.
Actually we could have started with 500 corn since I suspect that the Scholars won't use even that much before they are eliminated.

There's no need to fear...........

Taker, I don't like you!
Well, no. Let's be honest here. I don't like the CoN bullies who are picking on me, but you're the one who's letting them do it! I'm probably going to get Egbert syndrome* now, staring at turn reports and maps working out which player to RIP first!

I was never very good with directions.Egbert wrote:Hey Bjorn, it seems you got lost on your way to TK's house.
It seems Egbert and walls just go together.
Look at all those workers busily chopping trees. An interesting development, but not unexpected. 80 wood = 10 catapults = .8 level boost. Of course, we have planned for that and hope to have a surprise for you.
What's the deal with offering your PUSHER spell to TK? I'm guessing that horde he has in his starting city will become a big time army real soon. I think you should sell him all your wood as well.
It also looks like The Scholars have the Hobgob bug too. An easy +10 EFF each turn. Let's see how it works out for you.

Bah! My golem is my second unit to die in the battle. Even after that it was still close, with only 5 of Egberts units surviving.
I didn't get any RED gems on my first mining attempts either, which prevented any of my spells from being created on turn 02.
Sometimes you just can't catch a break.
Still, the Scholar's plan of upgrading troops right away was vastly superior to my attempts to mine and use magic to counter them. Good fortune follows good play.
I have nothing left, so I will just watch the end game.
