That part is not automated the GM has to set your clan affiliation in a game manually. So you will have to ask the GM in question to change it for you.

Hey Scholars! How about a clan war. The five of you against the old 'Civil War newbie team' with Smashface, Raw, Tbert and me.

Hmm...maybe we should let you guys have a sixth player to make it more even.

I don't remember Raw being in the Civil War team.

Neah, but Mac An Ghiolla is not around and Raw was a rookie back then just like the rest of us, so he would be a good stand-in.

Ah yeah ... sounds fair, since you are still all "rookies" and playing like it. Not a-one of you has ever lead in the scoring, or played in a champs, or had a good chance to win it.

And then you'd have the Scholars, which are me (perhaps an average player at best), korexus (too busy and waterlogged to play), Egbert (too busy to play), and 2 newer players ... sounds like a great match-up.

If you seriously want to play an enjoyable/entertaining clan war, why not suggest a good match-up ... or does simply setting up a game so that you can immediately win it do good things for you?

I think you'd be better off challenging CoN ... although Smashy and Raw are both listed as CoN players now.

Anyway, i was just trying to get some banter started Bryk.

People are always talking about a clan war, but they never seems to get started. I'm sure CoN would be willing to field a team, so we just need four or five other players to play against them.

Or maybe another newbies against vets game?

CoN v mercs might be an idea. If you can get the mercs to fight together of course

Look at the posts closely Cal. No one has actually said they will fight, except for Vortan. They are all trying to get each other to fight us.

CoN must be weakened, as long as I am not the one that has to do it!

Well except the Scholars no other clan has enough members to fight you. So it's either The Scholars or a combined team.

I'm willing to try a Clan war if the rest of my fellow Scholars agree, but I'd like to get at least one game under my belt first. Let me get the worst of my mistakes out of my system before I play hardcore, okay?
