There are no negative reasons for leaving the Scholars, except maybe Korexus changing the lock on store room. I'm just looking for a bit more of a challenge. Being a Scholar means you always have a great ally in a game with you, which is nice but at times tend to make the game too easy. And seeing that the best players are Scholars
as a merc i will finally be able to play against them for once. 
I will probably find my way back to the Scholar fortress at some point in the not so near future, but for now i'm going to try my hand at being a hired hand.
