I have decided to resurrect the Circle of Nine. It may take me a month or more to redo a new webpage, and gather together some information, but CoN will be officially returning. More to follow!

How can it be a 'Circle of None' when 1 person is definately there and others are in the process of applying?

I have sent an application to Calidus through PM. I'd be honoured to join the circle.

He said "more like". It's more like none than nine until the membership hits 5.

Don't make me get mathematical on you!

I have reactivated CoN and Flagged DoW as disbanded. That means our current list of active clans is:

The Balance of Time.
The Brotherhood of Vayuna.
The Circle of Nine.
The First Family.
The Scholars.
The Vulkings.
Valn Ohtar.

I am currently clandictator of the scholars (we haven't had an election since I took over mwah ha! The other clans have ONE WEEK to tell me who the clan head is or I will disband them too. (Otherwise new players mail a clan head who may be missing.)

You can change the head later, I just need the name of an active player to put in the database.

If there are any other clans which would like to re-activate (TKG, Thuggee?) then let me know too...

:wavey: Make me CH of the Vulkings for the time being as I'm the most active member recently and much more active than Mullog.

How about the Circle of Three? I have accepted Vortan and Yondallus (dang, I am going to have to call him Yo, so I can spell it!!!) to the Circle. Potentially, I have a fourth interested. Stay tuned ladies and gentlemen!

For now, the two CoN upstarts will have to play their new game as the Mercenaries that they signed up as. Sorry boys, thems the rules. Your next game you can sign up as CoN.

Thank you Calidus. And may the Circle be forever victorious, well after I get the hang of WINNING without getting my bottom kicked. :P

Thuggee has also been reactivated, with Lardmaster as clan head.

I know this happened partially a few weeks back, but this time I've told the computer about it...

For any players who want to join or switch clans, the method is fairly simple. Go to the Lobby and click on the 'clans' tab. From here you can browse information about all the currently active clans. If you decide to apply to a clan, click on the button and it will be so. The clan head will receive an email and get the option of accepting or rejecting your application.

Note that if you apply to several clans, only the most recent application will be valid. (Otherwise we'd get into a huge mess if two clanheads tried to accept you.) So please only apply to one clan at a time.

Good luck with the new CoN, Cali ... I still have a soft spot in my heart for my first true home on WoK (no offense to X-Wing and the RFF boys, of course).

So did Valn Ohtar become TKG, or did TKG become Valn Ohtar? Or are they not related at all? I'm trying to figure out which one I'm in. Once I know, I may become clan head, since it's just me and Aussie around these days.

Valn Ohtar is the re-incarnation of Ar-Sereg. The Kaomarian Guard Under the guidance of Duke is currently inactive i believe as i can't quite remember who was a member apart from Duke.

Gaz, Strider, Bjorn and of course, Dameon. Han and Val joined but left in disgust when they discovered that the large number of VPs that VO had were all from AS games several years previously. Thus we gained the Vulkings, so it wasn't all bad.

Tbert: You are currently listed as a member of Valn Ohtar too.

TK did a funny hack of Dameon's back story at one point due to, somehow, knowing Nick's site password. I wonder if it's still there...

Was the password 'ihateluck'?

I remember the big row about Nick wanting to take the Ar-Sereg vps and put them under Valn Ohtar. I never understood why people protested so much. Maybe it was just to get on Nick's nerves. :)
