We're mostly just dumb Yanks (and a clever Aussie) being propped up by a few well-placed Oxfordians who apparently felt like slummin'.Thin_King wrote:The Scholars are not as smart as you would think
Didn't you say something like that last turn too? You really should make sure of what you say before you say it. That way you run less of a risk of looking stupid!Allister Fiend wrote:Bye-Bye Korexus, it was fun while you lasted.
You think that was lucky, you should have seen some of the battles I had with Underdog. He got that city down to 1 defending army two turns in a row. You'd better watch out if you plan on attacking more though. The scholars are using the "luck" tactic this game, Bryk's been putting it to pretty good effect, just look what happened to Funty!P.S. You really lucked out on that battle, you know that don't you?
According to the BBC (Bjorn Battle Calculator), assuming that your PDEF started at about 14, Allister's 68 troops should kill 36 defenders. An average result would leave you with 10 armies. Assuming your PDEF was a bit higher at the start of the battle, you should have between 10 and 12 armies survive.korexus wrote: At the end of the battle the PDEF of my trrops was 14. All the way through Allisters was 10. I started with 46 troops and he had 68. Go and plug those numbers into Mullog's battle calculator and you'll find me having an 85% chance of winning.
