two down, seven to go.....

Mike, on the assumption that this game will be rated, you should add a column at the right to indicate who gets credit for the RIP. Bryk for Funty and Eg for SF.

I don't see any reason why the game should not be rated, as the victor will get 3VP in Koahalla, but nothing for Hi Score.

I'll add that column.

But you'll have to instruct me each time some rating changes should be made because I didn't follow the thread.

Not really necessary. The only two things the GM needs to do is note what turn a player was RIPed or went M3 and note who took the last of their provinces. The one side bar is that if a player goes M3 and is subsequently eliminated, a side note has to be made as to which turn he was RIPed. The turn he went M3 will determine final position, but the turn the position was RIPed needs to be none for the RIP adjustment.

On the subject of rating the Champs game, someone brought up in the rating thread that perhaps the Champs game should not be rated, because you are (supposedly) playing against some of the best players in Kaomaris, and you shouldn't have your rating hurt by going out early. Otherwise, some players may decline to be in the Champs if they don't think they can win, and they know that there is a good chance that their rating will be hurt as a result of playing. I tend to agree with this, in part.

I think that a player's rating should not be hurt by playing in the Champs. So, any "negative" rating should become "zero." However, if a player gets a result that would affect his rating positively, then that should count. In fact, an argument could be made that perhaps there should be a "bonus" for getting positive points in the Champs --- maybe a doubling effect? Just my 2 cents.

I think Allister means province 11, - which he would have a job reaching...

But come on Allister, fair is fair. You took three provinces from me earlier in the game (admitedly, one of them was Underdog's at the time. But I had my eye on it...) If you hadn't done that then I wouldn't have had to take these off of you this turn. - Although I was a touch suprised when I got all three. Just one to avoid the wrath of Underdog would have been enough for me :P

Just remember, I offered you a NAP way back at the start of the game. You've only got yourself to blame if you start losing provinces to me now...

Three down, six to go.

Well played Raw! Maybe next year we can try this again. Hopefully with a different outcome.

Sorry to see Big Brother go.

Now if my 2 neighbors can't behave themselves I just might have to go knock some heads around as soon as I get my balance back after playing "Ring around the Rosie" with Korexus.

this is getting awfully old. will you just die already. you are almost as bad as Keith Richards. Now there is a guy who has looked dead for the last 30 years he just isn't smart enough to fall down. you wouldn't be some relation would you?

Well, you've already kicked my tail in a game not so long ago ... So, since you've already been-there and done-that, you can take me off your shortlist this time around ... uh, right? ;)

So all seems to point towards a Egbert vs TK final with Bryk going into the mix too.

You little fools. Allowing Eg to get this far. You all will PAY for this.

It's not that I put my money on anyone in this game but you shouldn't forget about AF, Al!

The last 3 players don't have to be Scholars only!
