New advanced game.

I have opened a game along the lines that Xarfei and I were discussing here.

This should be considered as Advanced WoK Lite, or Intermediate WoK. All of the options which deal with the economy have been stripped, allowing for a more gradual progression for players who feel they are comfortable with Standard WoK and fancy a bigger challenge. This game is open both to experienced players (your feedback will be useful) and to people who have not playe Advanced before (hopefully it will get you hooked on the real thing!)

Currently the set up is as follows, note that as this is a new concept, things may be changed.

You have a 70 province map, with different terrain types.
In some of these terrains you can chop down wood, which allows you to upgrade your armies to specialise in fighting in one particular terrain type.
Some terrains allow you to mine for diamonds, which can be used to create powerful spells to help you or to damage your opponents.
Tech levels are not made by workers, but are bought with gold. Once bought these increases cannot be destroyed by other players.
Gold is also required to make spells, it is created by workers.
Missiles are called GCAs and can be targeted at the unit type of your choice when fired.
Spies are less powerful than in Standard WoK, but each player has a 4 digit spy code, cracking this lets you know all their information.

You do not need to worry about feeding your empire
You do not need to worry about paying your troops
You do not get a benefit from your tribe (and the tribechanger spell will not exist)

For more information, check the Advanced WoK manual. To join, visit the game page or let me know via post/pm/email/psychic message.

Any questions, post here. Any suggestions, post on the other thread. 8)

I guess this game is not for VPs, right?

How often will turns run? If the game is not for VPs, I suggest every 72 hours (too spead things up).
