Ok.

With the Alpha test 0.3 game coming to close sometime soon. Korexus and I agreed that we needed a final test to cover the optional rules.

As the Alpha tests ran reasonably well I have skipped past Beta (and the rest of the alphabet) testing and straight to Omega

The options used in this game are:

Players start with no magician.
Players start in a city.
No player without a city rule.
Teleports enabled at Tech Level 5.
Bad Weather & Bridges is on.
Eight City Rule applies.

Check the WOK5 manual for the meaning of the above or send me an email.

New Option to work with: ALL spells can be cast on ANY province.

Neutrals have no MRES.

Black spells will affect your own provinces if you cast them too close to your own border.

No vps for this game.

Is 'Players start with no magician' a new rule? Don't remember that one before.

Apart from that this is one crazy game. Every rule possible wedged in

I'm guessing that if all goes well this will be the last non VP WOK 5 game? Do we need to discuss a scoring system?

Nemesis - sorry for taking so long to reply.

No magicians is something I added just for this game. The Ewok setup allows the GM to customise just about everything at the start of the game.

At this stage I think we can just keep to the old vp scoring system but if everybody wants we can utilise the same system Dragonette is using for wok4.

as ive said its up to the wok fivers. Id give the game a go, but i don't quite understand the rules.

I think i should wait till im a bit older to try to understand, because unless someone is going to go through a step by step guide all the way through the game then, it would be pointless me signing up.

Do you think that means the other WoW addict might come back any time soon? :)

OK.

I have 8 signups for this game.

Nemesis
Crazy Psycho
Yondallus
Smashface
Big Jozzy
korexus
Xarfei
Dameon

I will allow more than 2 players from a clan as this is only a test game.

Bjorn - I have excluded you as I want no more than a 3 day turnaround for the turns.

If I don't receive 2 more signups this week I will start with the current players on Saturday 8th December.

I wouldn't mind giving this a go, however it would be a learning experience for myself.

I was just wondering whether it would be possible to also have a "Wok On Practice game" for Advanced Wok. I would just like to practice a bit. Or can I just open a game, put myself in it and delete it afterwards?

Oooh, you're courting Death there! :P

Deleting games is one of my pet peeves, once EWoK is running properly I will create a test game though. For now it'd probably get messed up by unfound bugs.

Actually I remeber that deleting games was always a bit of a pain.

Nevertheless, wouldn't finding bugs, before they appear in a real game, be a good thing? :D

Egbert - You and everyone else are in the same boat. Don't panic until I tell you to. I have Chris looking into it atm. (fingers crossed).

Ultyguy.

Thanks for your interest in this game.

I put Egbert in as the 10th player as he is familiar with Advanced WOK and there is already a newbie in the game.

Hope you don't mind waiting a little bit longer.
