General question relating to changing tribes...

I wanted to change from tribe 17 to 07 so I inputted [1707](07 eg) should I of only written which tribe I wanted to be ie [0007] for example?...

As the engine rejected my order or [1707]. Of course this was only to test the game engine :?

Correct, your current tribe is fixed, so the engine doesn't need to be told it. Just say you want to change tribes and you would like to be tribe 0007 (or whatever).

If you want to rerun for my sake only, then let's not rerun, I'd rather go on.

TR:
Starting from my second attack till the very end of the TR excluding the parts that show what is in a province (after I took one and the status at the end of my TR) and the fighting/dicerolling part of attacks. The 'funny' parts are bigger and centered as if intepreted as some header autoformatting?

I'm using Opera 9.23, but I don't see how this could be the reason since neither the Standard WoK TRs or the TR from last turn in this game were ever displayed in this way.

I already fixed it, but at the entering orders stage. A rerun won't make any difference, but it won't happen in the future...

Minor stuff:
In MINOR movements the saof says:
[xx] Number of units to move (01-30), OPTIONAL. IF OMITTED FULL 60 UNITS WILL BE MOVED.

Spycode cracking says:
Your guess is to high.

Turn 3.

Guys - for whatever reason (probably my fault) turn 2 looks like it reran and then turns 3 and 4 ran.

I cannot undo the rerun of turn 2 (pretty sure Korexus cannot either).

If anyone was badly affected by this I apologise and hope you wish to keep playing.

If there are minor things that I can adjust before the next turn runs please send me an email and I will try to do that.

A re-run can't be undone, short of repeated further reruns to try and get everything right. Not worth it in a normal game and certainly not worth it in a test run. It would be worth working out what went wrong so we can try to ensure it doesn't happen again, but that's about all we can do. I say, play on!

I cant see any Troops or their Basic Level
Not really self-explanatory. I assume this means trying to learn about the Troops there failed not that there are no Troops that that could be seen. I'd suggest "I was unable to learn anything about Troops or their Basic Level".

Btw, is it possible to get info that there's 0 of each kind of Troops and still get the info that the LEV of those 0 Troops is 1.000?

The wording is as per the original wok5 and means exactly what it says. Your spy can't see any troops but it does not mean that there are none around.

Answer to your question is yes. :)

We should probably get everything as per WoK V first, then we can discuss how stuff could be changed to make it better. I agree that Al's wording was not always clear, but it'll do for now.

Side note: It's very hard to be sure that something isn't there (maybe you just can't see it because of the good-counter espionage). Would it be more fun if the failure and saw 0 results gave exactly the same feedback?

Time to stir up some more debate about player in game scores.

Should a players EWOK score represent :

1 - His military strength

2- His economic/financial strength

or 3 - A combination of the above ?

Let the debate begin.
