Post by Nemesis » Thu Jul 19, 2007 10:56 pm

Is there enough interest for a new WOK5 advanced game? *prays*

Well let's see who would be interested in playing in a new wok 5 game.

I think it would be fun to play wok 5 again so count me in!

If a reliable GM offers to run it I'd play.

Seeing that so many wok 5 player are currently in CoN, i feel they should all be able to join the game (so it can fill up), though of course only two can play for CoN and the others can play as mercenaries.

Does the new scoring system cover WOK5 games in the same way?

In terms of scoring? Nothing.

There was not enough players who wanted to play Advanced WoK (that's what's it's called these days) for a year or two until Sal opened his currently running game. So there were no wins to record.

You could suggest before the WSC (once or if it's set up) appointing an Advanced WoK GateKeeper to keep the VPs under the Old system or you could suggest an alternative scoring system.

I guess we should sort this out before the online version of Adv WoK goes live.

The old system is fine. If you are playing WOK 5, (it will always be WOK5 to me) you probably don't give a dangnabbit about your standings anyway, because you are ready for a bigger challenge.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you.

Yeah I agree. If you are playing WOK5 then you have been hooked into Kaomaris already.

Any offers to GM?

If EWOK isn't set up before the next time someone wants a WOK5 game then I promise to GM that game, but obviously I can't GM this game and play in it.

To all those players hanging out for a WOK 5 game.

I can set up a new trial game using EWOK, which is very close to working correctly.

The game would not be for VP's nor can I guarantee that reruns won't be required.

I would set it for a 3 day turnaround but it can run faster if everyone co-operates.

Nothing fancy, no teleports, no eight city rule.

Let me know who's interested. New players to WOK 5 are welcome but preference will go to veterans. I will also allow more than 2 players from a clan.

I'd give it a try.

I'm no Adv WoK veteran, but I played some in the past.
