Its because you (potentially) have 6 different kinds of troops. I find it easiest just to put AAAAAA taht means you attack with everything you have.

Ok, I take it back.

All of the DEFs were reset at the start of the turn. The crazy thing is that the LEVs weren't...

Stupid Al and his bugy code. Grrr.

[xxxxxx] Nr. of Units to attack (Armies/Pikists/Archers/Knights/Catapults/Creature),
0>No Unit 1-9>1-9 Units X>10 Units F>15 Units W>20 Units T>25 Units
L>50 Units C>100 Units A>All Units Z>All but 1 Unit H>Half of all Units (rounded down)

That's the text from the aof sender. So in your example Hry you would put [W0X001]
Question everything.

Of course, you can also use 'A' to send all of your troops of that sort. I don't think I've ever used anything but 'A' and '0' with the very occasional 'Z' when sending troops out. (But maybe I'm just no good at predicting what troops I'll have in any given place...)

I guess Saladin has 2 choices - Restart the game over with the correct decimal setting or Manually amend the database to correct the error.

Based on my limited usage of the Wok5 manager it would probably be easier to restart the game with everyone set to satrt in the same provinces.

Run turn 0 again and then reload everybodies turn 1 orders and rerun turn 1.

A bit of work to do either way.

:(

I'll first try to do it without having a rerun.

Korexus, i only have to correct the def of all provinces right?

Keep an eye on Lev, just in case. But it didn't seem to go wrong, so I assume Al calls that in a different way...

If you want me to fix it, I don't mind seeing all the players' data... :P

Double check your turn report.

All neutrals I attacked had DEF 0.0 (not that I mind) but all captured provinces now only have a def of 0.1 (I do mind).

Hence Sal's post about fixing the DEF. :P

While you're at it, I seem to have lost 50 GCAs from each province!

They wandered out of my provinces. I would like you to politely return them, or at least let them wear this sign that looks oddly like a very large bullseye.......

The one time in what, two years that a WOK 5 game actually is run and I miss it by a week? Dang. I'll get you my pretties, and your little dog, too! 8)

Dameon, not to worry. If there are enough players around i'll set up a new wok 5 game some time next week. Though i'm thinking of making it an x-game with a good historical background story to make it even more interesting!

Not for a while for me I'm afraid. I'm out of practise at running an economy, so just surviving the first few turns in your current game is going to be hard enough before I can even think about killing everyone else and giving Nick a chance...

I've asked for a re-run! Sorry if this inconveniences anyone too much.

I nigh on copied my first successful set of orders only adjusting them slightly to include different provinces. My first set of orders we're amended to remove some (xxx) boxes to help out, I didn't realise this had been done until my second set came back having unsuccessfully allowed me to attack any new provinces.

Well that's it, that's my explaination asking for a re-run. Probably way too much info needed but hey I'm the new guy round these hallowed parts, and new guys generally stand out in this way - Don't they!?!

Usually I'm against re-runs, but we already have two effectively quit players in this game and it looks like Val will be joining them. It would be a shame to see Hryllantre go the same way through an AOF based mistake in his first game, so I'm happy for this turn to go again.

Of course, I'm no where near Hryll. Smasy, Donut and Calidus might not feel the same way...
