Well i always feel that if you can ask for an extension you can find the time to do your orders. :) I'm usually more worried and lenient to players i don't hear from as i then tend to think that they're having problems getting online. :)

Ok, i'll finish eating and will get the turn run.

I definitely won't have an internet connection until next Thursday evening (gmt), I'm off to my french place which doesn't (as yet) have the electricity connected...

I will now put my next set of orders in but would like the 1 week rule to apply so I won't go M-1 etc.

Who whats my Treequake spell cast on them, any takers!?!

You may want to check the MRES rules, Hryll. A single treequake will bounce off any player that's built some tech by this stage in the game. Of course, if you know that someone is struggling, little things like that to keep the MRES down can make finishing them easier later on...

Who's be a GM, eh?

Are you nucking futs? Sal, run the turn anytime after the deadline has passed. As a GM I never waited for a players orders unless I was asked to. I had a lot of spare time back then and had turns run pretty promptly. Keep in mind that GMing a game is quite honestly a pain in the arse, lets not make more work for Sal as he's kindly volunteered to run a game that we've all been itching to play.

Well i like a game to be as honest as possible. So here's what i'm going to do. This next turn there will be 1 day extension for Smashy. But that's the last extension i'm giving people as you've got a whole week to do your orders and shouldn't wait till the very last moment to do them (man i sounds too much like a teacher). :D

No, I'm just aware that this is the first WoK V game in over a year and that we're starting with only 7 players. This is not a good situation to be putting anybody off. Especially as in this game a missed turn would be disasterous...

The players in this game are all experienced and are not in need of pampering. Gaz won't get any pampering... and you'll probably be the next not pampered player :P

If you don't like to wait, you can always quit. Simple as that.

And don't worry about running the turn at deadline. If I don't have orders in by deadline, I sure will not be crying because I didn't get them in on time, should you run the turn. WOK is not, has not ever, and will never be more important than my family.

In case anyone didn't get the email, Wilfred is in hospital with a lung infection, pneumonia and suspected meningitis so the turn may have to wait a little bit. Apparently they won't discharge him for at least a week so you'll have to be patient, Donut.

He got his wife to send it, so the addresses may have been wrong for some people. Here is the full text.
Hi everyone

I m Annemarie, Wilfs wife. Wilf is in the hospital in Paris. He has an bad infection on his longs, phneumococks and probably also meningitis, so he is really sick. Luckily he was right on time and they are treating him rigth now, so he will be better soon. He has to stay till next week, so he will be not online till then.

Anyway, I hqad to greet all of you on his behalf

Greetz Annemarie
So it looks like he will be ok, but out of action for a while...

oh my! I also hope he's ok, especially since recently in Poland those pneumococci bacteria his wife mentioned have caused much more serious diseases than pneumonia... :(

He'll do anything to keep from running the turn!

no wait,

Smashface, if you needed an extension, all you had to do was ask, you didn't have to poison the lad!!!!

SERIOUSLY,

Wilfred, Please get well soon. We will be praying for a full and speedy recovery.

 I had to be the jerk to bring it up too

Get better Sal. That way we can give you grief once you come back.

I also agree with Cal's deductions... lets blame Smashy.

Hi guys,

I've got home yesterday. Still feeling really weak, but the headaches from the lumbar punction are a lot less so i sneaked behind the computer for a while.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I hope to recover fully, but it will probably take several weeks to get my strength back up.

Anyway, i'll see if i can run the next turn either tonight or otherwise tomorrow.
