So, now you guys can choose your own layout for the RPG.

You'd better like it, it's taken up far more of my weekend than I'd like to admit... :?

Serious appreciation goes to Runecylopaedia for spotting my frequent and persistant coding errors in this one! :D

Hehe. I think I found at least one... :-)

The windowing looks good, but I'm wondering. Is it possible to store my layout until next time? In a cookie maybe?

I don't suppose there is an option to turn the windows off? I am finding them really irritating.

Really? I thought they were kinda cool.

The problem is that getting all the information to display in a readable way across browsers and screen resolutions was turning into a real headache. If the windows remembered where you'd put them, would that make them less irritating? Or is it something more fundamental?

They seem to have disappeared totally now, all I get is the chat box.

I'm not sure exactly what it is about them to be honest. When they re-appear I will let you know :D

They should be back, I've implemented Rune's suggestion and made them remember their size and location from visit to visit.

If you still don't see them, you may need to clear your cookies. Or at least the cookie labeled __window_store__ from kaomaris.

scratch that. They don't work in ie. If I can figure out why not then I'll fix it, but for now windows is firefox only. I've neatened up the display for ie, so hopefully everything is usable.

Specially for those of you who use firefox and don't like the windows, they're now triggered by a button push, so you can play without them if you prefer.

(The button will disappear when you do anything.)

Windows do now work in ie. You'll have to delete your cookies first if you want to use them though (only the first time and only if you've logged into the RPG before).

They really do make the game better, whatever Lardmaster says! :P
