Blackout!

Post by Egbert » Fri Aug 15, 2003 11:50 am

:vanish:

In case some people haven't heard, there was (and still is, partially) a huge blackout covering the northeastern U.S. That included my area, so I was unable to respond to any emails, run game turns, or do anything else.

I will try and get everything done today, since power appears to be back on for now in my area. :peek:

"Natural causes", "near the Niagara Falls".

Thats all we were told here in the UK.

I just saw the report, and wondered who would be involved... :)

I heard about it yesterday, just glad I'm not part of it. Still gets annoying when we lose power while I'm in the shower, has happened twice already to me, my luck sucks.

Yes, well I at least had the good LUCK (gasp!) of not being close to that, although a couple of states over and I very well may have been. Hmm, wonder if I can use this to my diplomatic advantage in any game....
