Time to start planning the 1st Clan Champs for 2003

Post by Bjorn » Mon Feb 17, 2003 3:45 am

The scholars just took home 2 more VP's in Pat 05, which should put them 'out of range' of the Circle of Nine for this period. It looks like the Scholars and the Brotherhood of Vayuna should start looking for a GM.

Just a note from the Gatekeeper.

Oh the Scholars VP avalanche has only just begun...

With korexus showing he's go the right stuff, Polymorphic displaying a firm grasp of numbers and my newfound WOK5 ability it'll be a depressing time for our opponents...

Thats not even mentioning our secret weapons...

Muhahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaaaaaa.....

Oh, we'll make sure to stop that avalanche in it's tracks. As far as your opponents go they are 2 and 0 so far when it comes to clan wars with 3 survivers in the first one and 4 in the second. Hmm, I guess this would mean we will beat you with the hole team left ...

See you around CH! :bandana:

Oh you meant WHOLE team...

Took me a while to figure out just what you meant - think I've been hanging around Duke too long...

Ok in that case - I call dibs on Fredos RIP for the League game...

Now if we were facing the Merc All Stars I'd be concerned...

Guess we'll sort this out on the battlefield soon...

You know, I'm almost tempted to join BoV just to partake in beating on the Scholars, but BoV has certainly shown that they don't need any help to embarass the Scholars after the last clan war. Besides, the real reason I never liked the Scholars is TK, and he's kinda mellowed as he has aged, like a fine wine. I still don't trust him as far as I can throw him but I'm beginning to respect him. 8)

*looks at CH with an empty expression on his face, then turns to Fredo*

Remind me again, who ripped you in the BoV vs Ar-Sereg clan war?

Ooops, did I break the "no foreign languages on the board" rule? English is a foreign language to me. Who do we determine that rule?

Hole?

Uh oh, I guess that means you can't talk anymore on the boards Duke. For that matter, neither can Al!

A bit premature, aren't we CH? With all those new Scholars, I wonder how Bryk will decide which members to include in the Clan Champs. Only 5 get to play.

Be careful there Nick.

American's (& Australian's for that matter) treat English as if it was a foreign language anyway.

Don't worry, Trewqh. Why don't we just ask some nice friendly GM to set up a game for all we "spare wheels" to play in while everyone else has their clan war? It could be kinda fun!

Merc All-Stars...

I like the sound of that. We could go on tour like the Globetrotters. We sure have plenty of Generals to play around here. :P

There's no reason why we can't all have an extra clan war each, and rack up some bonus clan points for the next round.

Hmm Bryk,

Any chance of me being in the clan final...after all i did add 6 vps to the total. :D

The sad thing is...i've been in Kaomaris for a whole year now and still haven't played in a clan war!

Are you all that afraid of me?!?!

Sal,

You'd be in trouble in a clan war. You dont get time to sleep.

Go ahead CH. But I honestly think you should be more concerned about your own survival.

Indeed we will. See you on the flip side CH! :smokingdevil:

Sure I will Duke. You did. You need to see that this game doesn't work with me. Now here's a little q/a back at you. Where you alone? No Did you live to tell about it? Not for long Who won the game? BoV
Oh, and also remind me, how many clan championships have you played in...?

To the rest of WOK: Me and Fredo has had (have? has ha..ehh have had crap!) our fun with Swedish now. We will stick to English or Pig latin from now on.

You are correct in all statements there. I did die, your clan did win but......who died first again? Oh thats right. You did. Who took you out? Hmmm, yes I did. 8)

Who says you can't sleep in a clan war...i slept in Frederik's Civil War game, though not for long of course as we whipped those Northerners in to a more submissive mindset in just a couple of turns. :)

Anyway, sleeping is not the only viable option, there's also the 'rampage through their lands like there's no tomorrow' tactic. :D
