korexus ...

Is it possible to have the "Chat" link (in the left menu) show the number of people currently logged into the chat system? Alternately (or in addition), can the "Online Now" list have an icon next to names of people who are in the chat system?

I've seen this done with other phpNuke sites, and it really helps to encourage spur-of-the-moment flash-mod type live chat sessions.

Another idea would be to schedule weekly chat times (and even topics) in which players try to be available for chatting about WOK-related things.

(There seems to be a mini-revival occuring, with a number of talented new players ... I think chatting would enhance this direction.)

Not that link as I can only input html into the boxes.

I might be able to make a seperate box, or rig something where the numbers are actually dynamically generated images.

Same goes for the "Online now" box, but more so.

The old chat system did tell you on the front page how many people were there, I wish I could figure out what's wrong with it...

I did manage to get the number in chat thing working. However, doing so stopped the rest of the page from loading. So I undid it. I'll try again tomorrow if I get a chance.

It may of showed the numbers for that chat thing but it made the forum board shrink to like have the page across.

It was so weird.
