Hello folks,

This seems to be the place to introduce myself. I'm Tinker, and I'm looking forward to meeting you on the field in the near future. I'm hoping to try my first game soon.

Thanks,

Hiya! Welcome, and feel free to ask me silly questions. I'm good at those, I've got kids.

Hi Tinker, well what better way to welcome a new player than a new beginners game in which you can learn the game without all the old vets leering hungrily at your provinces.

Have a look here: http://www.kaomaris.com/phpNuke/modules ... 346#action

And click on the 'Apply to join this game' button.

You can find the forum thread for this game here:

This site was passed along to me by a friend, Tinker. I'm looking to give it a go. My short term goal will be to take Tinker down in a Duel. After that I'll be rocket fodder for everyone.

A big welcome to Ultiguy, and well done Tinker.

Tinker is good; so you might wanna change that to a long-term goal ...

You've both applied, presumably to play each other straight off, so I'll set it up, great!

I'm not afraid of the Big Bad Wolf ...

I think he is showing weakness already.

And yes I was trying to start off with a Duel against Tinker. Thanks for setting it up.

Bah. Just because you school me at most tabletop games doesn't mean you'll crush me at this one.

Oh.... wait. It probably does.

Anyone want to place any bets on this one?

My money is on Tinker, because it's a game of supreme skill and Tinker has played it before. But Tinker implies that Ultyguy is a strong gamer who usually shows Tinker what's what.

So I'll take any bets of pearls, diamonds etc on Ultyguy to win, at even money. And for the rematch, I'll switch to accepting any bets for Tinker to win ...

I'm not sure how to buy anything of value, but I'm willing to risk everything and bet on myself. I sure could handle trinkets for beating on Tinker.

I think I figured out how to buy things, so I'll put up the Shirt off my back for the best odds I can get.

Servus and Hello!

Don't know if anyone still remembers me, but I used to be quite active while is was still living in the UK with korexus + TK (Greetings to both of you if you are reading this).
I used to prefer Advanced Wok to Standard Wok and I just noticed that there appears to be an Online Version Adv. Wok now.
Actually I am thinking about joining the Omega 1.1 testgame if that's possible.

Greetings,
Xarfei

Xarfei

Welcome back.

Korexus runs the whole show and TK is a no show.

I will add you to the Omega test game shortly.

Wow, thanks for your supporting posts.

I've always been a scholar and always will be :)

Well, I cannot promise that I will be as active as I used to be while I was a still student (those good old days...), but I certainly feel like playing a game every now and then.

Welcome Xarfei, glad you looked in, hope you like it again. Hmm, thinks: this guy beat me ... maybe I shouldn't be so glad about his return ... Just kidding, welcome back, you play well, and I look forward to avoiding you on the battlefield!
