Old players just dropping by ... and saying hello

Post by Hannibal » Fri Nov 17, 2006 1:44 pm

Like many of you past members, I have a soft spot for Kaomaris, even though I can go elsewhere. WOK is a great game! I suspect some of us go elsewhere because elsewhere is more active, and we don't seem to be enough to start a full game here just now?

When old players drop by, they may or may not leave a message on some current thread about something or other. Usually not?

THIS IS A THREAD SPECIFICALLY FOR OLD PLAYERS, EX-PLAYERS, TO SAY HI AND ASK WHA'S HAPPENING. AND GET REPLIES FROM OTHER OLD PLAYERS.

So, if you just drop in to have a look, say hi here rather than just drop in and go away again - old allies will be glad to hear you even dropped by.

Hey, maybe there could be a nostalgic game just between the old returners!? Reserved for only the players who played it early on? "The Heroes' Return"??

Recently, on other threads, I see UnderDog, Lardmaster, TBert and Duke dropping by. Maybe others I missed. Maybe others dipped in and left no post...

BTW, please don't specify which "better" site you had drifted off to! It has the accidental effect of pushing our members, and newbies looking in, to go look THERE rather than here! Al made that mistake and damaged his own WOK invention by singing the praises of site X and taking players from here to go play there ... Don't mention X ?!

Ok, I checked it out and dont worry Han. www.x.com is a site owned by PayPal so there is no way that any players will be lost that way.

I fell victim to another game that Goat Herder had recommended to me. But that has also fallen out of grace to me because of a lazy creator... hmmm... sounds familiar...

Good to see you, Mylantis!

How could I forget one of the First Family's Clan Heads? :)

We may not be as corwded as in the past but we're still here and we don't intend on going nowhere. :)

Allister Fiend visited the site recently, does that mean the return of the First Family? Well, we do have an open game for you guys to show what you were worth. 8)

Cheers!

Nah, the family are too chicken to sign up for a game. They just drift through the boards, talk smack, then hide before the whupping comes. :P
