Inside the Tent of Yondallus
Yondallus is sitting in his tent, all alone, waiting for Dragonette's army to leave, and suddenly comes up with a cunning plan.
Yondallus: I need something to do while I wait for them to leave. Oh I know, I've heard of this new thing they're doing around here. What's it called again? Duel? Yeah, that's right, a duel! Now, who should I challenge. Too bad I can't attack Vortan anymore, he's in my clan now. I would have won for sure! Who else is out there. Who else is playing games these days? Ahhh, I know.
Yondallus looks through one of the holes in his tent, to see if the coast is clear. He can't see anyone.
Yondallus: So, they've left? I can go outside again! Thank god!
Yondallus opens his tent and walks out. He notices his messenger is still here.
Yondallus: Messenger, I need you to deliver a message for me. Take the following message to Lord Korexus: Dear Lord Korexus. In the name of Lord Yondallus, I challenge you to a Duel-Lite game. And when you've said that, you slap him in the face with this iron gauntlet.
Yondallus notices the messenger has more holes in his body than an average shower head.
Yondallus: Dangnabbit, do I have to do everything myself around here, good-for-nothing messengers. Fine, I'll go myself...
To Be continued.
So whaddaya say Korexus?

Yondallus's challenge is foiled by the Library's strict no gauntlet policy. (Ever since Raw and Saladin had that "who can hit the other with a gauntlet hardest" competion. Raw lost his grip and broke a priceless stained glass window. Did anyone ever wonder why he left the library in such a hurry?) However, once Yondallus has managed to file his request in triplicate, I'll be happy to consider his petition!

Yondallus has a strange look on his face. What was this 'triplicate' and how was he going to find one to fit his message? Yondallus tried numerous stores but none of them had a triplicate. He did learn that there was this wise man on top of a mountain, who knew how to make triplicates. So Yondallus went on a journey to the top of the mountain and found this man.
Yondallus: Hello good sir, I have a request.
Wise Man: What can I do for you?
Yondallus: I need a triplicate that fits this gauntlet.
Wise Man: I only make triplicates for people who go through a series of tasks. Are you up for it?
Yondallus: Here's a coin.
Wise Man: Here's your triplicate. It should fit.
Yondallus: Thanks!
Yondallus journeys back to the Scholars library and delivers the triplicate.

korexus examines the three stone tablets left on the library doorstep. They appear to be written in some ancient language, excitedly, he has them carried up to his study.
Several hours go by and the tablets still seem indecipherable until Lord korexus notices some similarities between the tablets, it looks like they are meant to be identical.
A suspicion growing in is mind, the Scholar searches the tablets for one word, a name. Now he knows what to look for it is there, roughly carved into each tablet, "Lrod Yondallus".
'Hmm, it seems that Yondallus has been to see that crazy man up the hill. Someone really should tell that guy about paper one of these days.' Muses Lord korexus. 'Also, maybe someone should inform "Lrod" Yondallus that it's easier to carve a stone tablet if you take the gauntlet off first.'
"Messenger! Send word to Lord Yondallus that I will meet his challenge at a place of his choosing. He's going to keep pestering us until I go. Send it by pigeon, the Circle of Nine has developed a habbit of killing messengers recently...

OK, I'm happy to GM it. All you had to do was both apply to for the Full Duel or the Duel-Lite that are up there on "View Games To Join", that's what they're there for! It can be tricky to get a start-map equal, fair and interesting. And I'm still tweaking the rules on Duel-Lite.
