That's quite right, V ! I am a bear with small brain, and easily get games confused if I try to play two at once. I don't know how some of you guys do it.

Hannibal wrote:Hi LM, congrats on your win. Beating Tigress is no mean feat. Hard luck, Tigress. I hope you both enjoyed Duelling.

LM, it's only been a day or three, and the reason it is still clogging your Lobby, asking you for orders, is probably that it stays listed in "Running Games" for a while before it descends out of sight into "View Old Games". This was deliberate. It's so that any watchers can see how a game turned out; I think we settled on it staying around in "Running Games" for 10-14 days for anyone to marvel at it and see how you won; insytead of having to remember it was happening and have to go search in "Old Games" for it.

I hadn't seen it as a problem myself: I just ignore the games my Lobby tells me it wants orders from me for if they're over, until it stops asking when the game descends into "Old Games". But maybe it's clogging.

LM, I'm guessing you agree that it's worth the GM leaving the game as "Finished" but still in "Running Games" for 10-14 days, so that people can see your win :D Kor, maybe we (you!) could code it that once "Finished" appears, the players no longer get it in their lobby as "Submit orders" ? Or, if it's easier, a way for players to edit out in their lobby? Either would do fine?

Han
This already happens. Once a game is marked as finished, a link to the game page only appears for all players who were in the game. This floats around for a week, until the game becomes "old" and disappears again.

11. GM Han's Duel #15 Suburban Mayhem, trewqh beat Saladin in June 2007
I can't believe you actually credit yourself with a win on a game that was never even started! So much for objective score keeping.

I'm sure I beat Han in one game if not 5...

Taking the opportunity to fight Sal's corner for a change. Come on Trewqh - play fair - you can't count games that never actually got off the ground. Mind you at least you didn't put in the three phantom ones you threatened to.

Fair scoring please. :D

You conceded, you sent in zero orders and then you voted for my win. You never asked the GM to cancel the game. I guess you did want to act as if you were above all these standings thing with your let-the-hot-headed-trewqh-have-his-way attitude, but now it seems the standings do bug you.

I don't intend to remove this game until we play a rematch. Same map, same setup. :P

I did ask for the game to be canceled. You said i had to concede it to you for it to be canceled. That whole attitude is the reason i do not want to play any games with you.

You did it on the boards 7 minuts before conceding.

That's not true. Did you forget the facts or do you manipulate them again?

Here is the relevant thread, starting with your post about cancelling the game.
Saladin wrote:That whole attitude is the reason i do not want to play any games with you.
Which attitude? The one where I point it out whenever you're 'reinterpreting' facts? Or just the one where I dare you to face me in a Duel?

right see the thread says the same thing. Instead of just saying 'ok let's not play' you jumped on the chance to write it down as a win for yourself.

Anyway it would be nice to see some professionalism here and you being able to separate your character from your self appointed position of duel score keeper.

As I already wrote you in an e-mail a month ago :!: I was daring you not ordering, asking or jumping at anything. Vortan did not have problems seeing that.

As I wrote 3 posts ago, instead of pursuing the cancelling of this game, you decided to concede. I also gave reasons why I think you did that, was I wrong?

I think I'll change my opinion about you manipulating facts, I think, actually, you have problems with understanding certain communication acts, being at the same time arrogant enough to claim your interpretation is the right one. :(

Did you even read the beginning of this thread? Don't like it - ignore it. Or make your own. It's not official or anything. You think someone appointed would be more reliable than someone who's doing it of his own initiative and motivation?

Can I, just for a moment borrow someones moderator hat for a mo.

Lets look at this practically.

a) We have 2 strong/stubborn personalities neither of which will back down.

b) We have a game which was set up but never got off the ground.

I propose that Trewqh remove the offending game from the tally as it didn't actually happen. This is I ask in the name of fairness.

The animosity between you two gentlemen is, you have to admit, in danger of bordering on the Vortanish  No I mean it. Taking the game off takes nothing from you Trewqh. Likewise it doesn't give Saladin any form of moral victory because a challenge was laid at his door and he declined it.

Please, in the interests of harmony can we have this solution accepted by both parties please. Then if Trewqh wants to challenge Saladin again they have the opportunity to fight for their respective prides.

Not unreasonable - thoughts gents please.

No. Press view finished games, scroll down list to Hans games, see for yourself. Lazy individual. Call yourself a score keeper.
