New Wok 4 X-Game

Post by Saladin » Mon Mar 01, 2004 1:27 pm

Hi,

Seeing that i got more than 10 applications for my other beginner game i decided to open up another wok 4 group. This time it's going to be an X-game. :D

What's X about it? Well there are two changes from the normal wok 4 games.

1. Everybody gets to see all the turn reports.

2. The OoP for every round will not be given.

PLUS i will use my Gateway map so that everybody can attack everybody each turn. :D

The page will be up shortly, so if you're interested sign up quickly!

Seeing that i've only got 4-5 applications for this game so far, it doesn't seem there is a lot of interest in this game. So i'm taking it out of the Koabase and will retry later on in the season.

My apologies to the people who did show their interest.

Sally, you need a course in communication skills. When you propose X-game rules that YOU can see the fun in, you need to say WHY those X-factors make it enjoyable/challenging/interesting, in order to enthuse people, otherwise they draw their own inferences and maybe don't spot the enjoyment that YOU saw in what you're proposing. You need to start looking at communications from the OTHER guy's point of view, as I've said to you before........

I would have joined a normal game on that map or any other but I'm far too lazy to plough through everyone elses turn reports :)
Question everything.

I'm already running a normal game.

But then again...normal games are so so BORING!

Both to play and to gm.

Hoho! You ALSO played two WOK4 games recently, your favourite game, yes?......Lost both...........TOO DIFFICULT!!!! In Matt #06 Penta, you were the sleeper, emerging with 209 heavies, and I, an active newbie, beat you (my second game). :D In Mike #02 Feudal, you managed 224 armies......and I beat you (my third game). :D Hey, maybe you should concentrate on WOK5, that you find sooooo much easier!!

Hey, let's make this a flamer and direct everyone to look in on this thread, yes? :P I can hear you gnashing your teeth. I can also hear lots of others rubbing their hands that you get taken down a peg or three.......
