GM Mike's Group 2 - Feudal
I set up the page for my new group. (I know that hardly anyone visits those but...) My GM homepage is a little messed up right now so just use the Kaobase or this link:
http://republika.pl/gmmike/group02.html
Four players signed up already but there are still some places waiting to be taken.
Feudal map hasn't been here for a while and that's why I chose this one.
No headhunting.
No turnmax.

The map image is now a 300kB bmp and I am very sorry for that but the problem is that any new JPEGs or GIFs I upload don't work = My Site manager shows there are there but when trying to open them I am redirected to a 'non-existant file' page.
The strange thing is that I have a GIF and a JPEG from my GRoup 1 and those work!
I will try to resolve this ASAP and for now please be patient and wait for the map to load.

That was IT, Sal! Thanks! At first I was sure it wasn't it but just today I noticed that MS Paint saved gifs and jgps with capital extensions. So, my html said group02.gif while the file was named group02.GIF. Sheesh...Saladin wrote:Could it be you have capitol letters in your file name and not in your html?
Thanks to you, Sal, the map has a satysfing size of 22Kb
Turn 01 is out!
Have fun everyone!

Han to Val: Urgent.
Hey, Val, see posts above and drop that plan of spying short on Sal's last two empty provinces for EFF boost........and let's move any surviving POP SEVERAL provinces away, just as an extra precaution.......in fact preferably off the map................................cos you know what uncanny influence Sal has over the dice in the turn-generator, - remember how a couple of turns ago he survived those 203 short-range, high-eff missiles with 28 of his 149 heavies left alive instead of what should have been about 3, if that? (Still, if I hadn't gone at him and disrupted him in the early turns, there'd have been about 78 of the b******s breaking out.....).
Now that he knows Funtastick's Fun-Tactics, we could be in big trouble.........should we just give up now?

There is feasting and merriment in the halls of Lord Hannibal's palace. The knights and assorted returning heroes exchange tales of daring and victory on the battlefield. Nobody mentions the thrashing they took in province #26 when they accidentally ran into some Zedite armies there. Wine flows and goblets chink. Outside, the populace and workers are given a whole half day holiday. There is jubilation throughout the land.
A hush descends on the feasting-hall, as Lord Hannibal emerges from his celebratory wenching, still adjusting his clothing. Lord Hannibal speaks to the throng:
"A toast!", he cries, and the revellers cheer. "To Saladin, may he R.I.P., who thought he had us beat!" The feasters jeer. "To Mylantis, who spent 15 seasons biding his time, and then fell in two blows!". More jeering from the floor. "And to the noble Lord Mullog, who, like Theoden, had listened too long to the counsel of a Wormtongue. May he enjoy his asylum in a far-off land, whither he escaped with the contents of the Mullite treasury, having seen how Fate was moving against him.". The crowd cheers. "And to the noble Lord Validon, ruler of half the world, the first to show that the enemies could be destroyed." Huge cheer. "And to Lord Validon's artillerymen, may they soon get their new spectacles that their Lord has been promising them!". Much jeering......the Hannite artillerymen look a little sheepish themselves. "And to Lord Funty, who had the good grace to abscond at exactly the right time!" Mutterings about Lord Funty having been far more useful absent than present. "And finally, a toast to Lord Zed, without whom victory could never have been won. Royal minstrels, compose a ballad in his honour, and let it be sung throughout the land!" The revellers cheer mightily. It is an evening to remember........
