Group #04 Starting

Post by Funtastick » Sun Sep 14, 2003 7:28 am

We've been hearing it on the boards and from Al for weeks and weeks without any action, so I finally decided to take some. Although I'm still in school, and have been a little late with turns in the past, this is senior year and the teachers realize that homework that is given out isn't done as often, therefore, I present to you Group #04 - Forest Lake.

In addition to the afformentioned, this will be a BEGINNERS GAME ONLY. Because of this, I will have more time inbetween the turns to get them run.

I do beileve that a beginner means they cannot have won any VP's and must have played in 3 or less games. Please let me know if I'm mistaken on that.

Other than that, waitlist is open so get your new beginners into my game quickly so I can get it going, I know there's lots of them out there just waiting to get signed up.

:P

Thats very good news ! Im not too sure if we have full 10 freshmen to fill the ranks, so you might want to enlarge the signup conditions a bit once you see how many slots are still left to be taken.

Thanx again !! :P

Alright, well, I'll be sure to ask all the clans if they have all their beginners in the game before I open it up to advanced players. And in regards to your e-mail, I suppose it dosen't much matter to me, I just planned on giving them time in the beginning to figure things out. It doesn't much matter to me and I suppose I can ask them when we get under way how long they want inbetween turns. I expect to see every newbie in this game possible :)

We know, sometimes you are just left behind without being ripped and with no chances of affecting the game.

We're off to a very good start. 3 players are already in, 2 from the BoV and 1 from BoT. From my counts, we should have about 8 or so beginners sign up for this game. Once we get around that number I will begin to inquire if any clans have others that I don't know about who may want to join. Once we have all the beginners who want in, I will open the game up to everyone on a first come - first serve basis, meaning if you want in Poly, you gotta be quick (just be like you're playing in a game, the speed you die in one is about how quick you gotta be to get in)

Other than that, let's get this game filled up. Thanks for the support all, this should be a great game.

maybe you should open to no-VP winners first? it's not really fair to put for example the vice-champ in versus all beginners

Just a note to all beginners left.

I will be closing my group this Saturday, whether I get another beginner or not. If I do not recieve one, I will be adding Polymorphic to my group, as that seemed to be a popular idea of what to do if I couldn't get enough beginners.

So, what that means is that unless I recieve an e-mail from a beginner withing about 50 or so hours from now, Polymorphic will join the game and we'll get underway.

In two games right now (well, three if you count going M-3 in suburbia...)
Hmmm, can I kep up with three games at once? Is it worth the chance to go up against some players closer to my level? difficult decisions...

Unless you really annoy me in one game, I'll try not to carry grudges over to others.
I was dead from the beginning in Suburbia, I don't blame you for it.
