New Wok 4 game - The Gateway

Post by Saladin » Sat Jul 26, 2003 10:31 am

As promised you can now sign up for my group 07 - The Gateway.

http://www.berkhof.demon.nl/group7/group7.html

I'll leave the waiting list open for a couple of days and will give preference to new players, so it's not on a first come, first served basis.

One more spot to fill!

Who'd like to get in a fast paced game here? :)

It happened to me also with Lardmaster's aol.com account. In my case, even though the message bounced back, Lardie received it after a couple of days. Strange...

I want to say that the Gateway map is probably one of the trickiest and best WOK4 maps out there. Only now can I fully understand and see its potential.

Good job Wilfred !! 8)

The first thing I always check is the KaoBase.

As a GM I will only run the Turns if my KaoBase timer has turned to zero and beyond. I cannot force any GM to keep this (simple) setting up-to-date, but as a Player I would email the GM if he doesnt do it.

**REMINDER: All GMs are asked to use the Turn Data Handler (TDH) and save a copy of their latest Turn data after they ran the Turn.**

(Errr, WSC, did we agree we dont need a vote on this and make it mandatory for GMs to use the TDH ?)

Mac it says 11 AM GMT, GMT...that's UK time...11 AM UK time, it shouldn't get any easier for you. I'm not really sure how you managed to read 8:30 from that? :) Also if it had been CET i send out the first turns long after that deadline had passed as well, so please don't blame somebody else for your own mistake. If you wait till the last minute that's your own responsibility as i plan to run turns right after the deadline in this game.

Al, how do i use the TDH? Didn't get a response to my mail yet. :)

It's currently British Summer Time here. One Sunday about three months ago all you Brits should have put your clocks forward an hour so that we get more sunlight, we can turn up late to work because we "forgot" and most importantly so we can put them back again in October amid arcane and drunken ceremonies. (Oh wait, that last bit's only in Oxford. Everyone else just has an extra hour in bed...)

But yes, long story short. Only on GMT in winter...

I dont think so.

As far as I remember the GMT is ALWAYS CET -1. When you switch to summer/wintertime we do also here in Central Europe.

(Not to say that those British always need something on their own - they dont have the Euro as money and use their own timezone - tzzz tzzz tzzz  )
