I feel the time has come to score some points. So if anyone could open a game, I'd appreciate it.

that's twice you've insulted me or my work now. It's one thing to say that it's not your style of a map, but you're pushing it.Dragonette wrote:its a simple disgusting map. I don't mind losing i aint a sore loser.

After 14 turns, the game ends. Brykovian of the Scholars and Nemesis of the Circle of Nine share the win.
This was a great game to watch, and I hope that means it was good to play too. One first turn quit could have signalled the start of a dull game, but the other players rose to the challange. The score board appears to be dominated by Brykovian (in an attempt to prove that scholars don't always sleep, Bryk took 2/3 of the RIPs in this game). However it didn't all go in his favour.
The map is an interesting mix. Each island is a bottle neck, but the way island provinces are connected means that players can get across the map very quickly. Several players used this to stake out lots of territory early on, it also meant that people who you thought were a long way off could suddenly turn up on your doorstep.
In short, the map may be ugly as sin, but that didn't stop a good game being played on it. A triumph of strategy over beauty. Thanks for the map, Yondallus and thanks for the game, players.
