New beginners (and players with 0 vps) game!

I've opened up a new beginner game that will also be open to any player who hasn't won a game yet.

I'm hoping that this game will fill up rather quickly and i'd rather start with 8 players after 3-4 days than wait another week for another player or two.

Yondallus, Tigress, Jen, Vortan, TheDragon, Dragonette, Celerian, Demandred, TheFighter and Tinker are all 'new' players (if i forgot somebody i'm sorry and of course you can join too).

So come and sign up and we'll get this game started soon.

Also seeing as half these players are currently not in a clan and therefore are not yet profitting from all the knowledge that the more experienced members of these clans could share with them i'll see if i can finish my little 'how to survive the first couple of turns' guide for all to use as they see fit.

Of course it would be nice if some other successful players with different playing styles than mine (like for instance Tbert and Hannibal) to write a little guide that will show our new players that there are multiple roads to victory in this game and will also help them in all the other games against those old grubby veterans.

I'm happily on board. In the interests of full disclosure I should admit that I've been lucky enough to be accepted by The Scholars clan, and I'll be running to them for advice whenever possible. :)

Cool...can't do any better than the Scholars!

Just make sure you have Bryk give you the keys to the library so you can read Egbert's wok manual.

Good idea, Sal!

This waitlist is a good alternative to my complicated X-game.

They warned me that everybody else would be jealous. Don't worry, Lardmaster, I'm sure your clan is almost as good.

lol, good answer. Not really jealousy tho. i was in the scholars before any of this new lot even started playing. Not the clan it was. Oh no. They let any riff raff in now. Time was you had to pass an exam.

There wasn't any exam (thank goodness) but I did have to answer questions three 'ere the other side I see. Saw. You know.

In other words, I had to rtfm before they let me in, which is only fair.

I would sign up, but vacation time in august prevents me. And the length between Westeros turns worries me :?

I love working with other gamers; they share my bizarre sense of humour.

So we're six now in the game, I see. What's the minimum number we should wait for before we start?

Yon: how long will you be gone in August?

Tinker: Any number will do for this game. Right now we've got 4 more new(ish) players that can sign up and i'm hoping that the Barnes family and Demandred will sign up as well, so we can have a full group of 10. But if it stays at 6 this weekend we'll start with six. As i'd rather have this game start Monday than have to wait another week (or two).

Monday sounds good to me. I'm eager to try my first game, of course, but I'd rather play with a full roster if we can.
