Donut sticks to his 'number of provinces must not excede the turn number' policy, taking neutral 13.
Kikkertje is the most adventurous taking two further neutrals.
Validon starts the hostilities, missiling a province belonging to Hryllantre, but still no one tries any attacks on other players.

There must be something soon!

After such a long break from WoK we all got sloppy and... made our NAPs too long. That's my diagnosis of the situation. :)

I suggest we all agree to drop all of the NAPs right now, regardless of the minimums agreed upon.

Really?!

Have you tried refreshing?

There *should* be no way for the site to give you the wrong map anymore as it is dynamically generated when you load the page (saves storing masses of old game maps). The other thing you can check if the map hasn't updated is the turn number in the address bar.

Player conflict between Validon and Hryllantre!

Donut continues his 1 province per turn expedition.

Kikkertje RIPs Saladin, which helps keep the number of M-3s down...

Things could be getting interesting.

Donut's policy is still in action. This is getting a bit silly now...

The Vulkings now own 1/3 of the map between them. - Not bad for turn 5.

Hryll seems to be running away from Validon, but there's not much space left.

Yarosund seems to have declared war on Kikkertje.

Now things are getting fun!

LOL, netjes gedaan. :D

Chris, i noticed that after i had gone QUIT and Kikkertje ripped me the status was set to ripped. Is this a new rule? If so i'm all for it!

You get RIPed at the end of the third turn of no orders. - To give players as much chance as possiblr to kill you off...

Yeah i know. But what i meant was that i had already gone M-3 on turn 3 and was listed as quit and was ripped after that on turn 4 by Kikkertje.

The rule used to be that if a player is already QUIT/M-3 he can't become RIP after that. Though i've always disliked this rule. But just so that it's clear to me and other rule fanatics, has this rule been changed? :)

Hmm, no. In that case, that *shouldn't* have happened. Hmm...

Well personally i like it as even though ripping a quit player at times might be easier than a still active player it still takes resources away from a player so why not reward it with a rip. So i would say, just leave it as it is now. :D

Your points are sound, but you have to remember that the number of QUITs has to be kept and displayed in case 5 or more players QUIT a game, in which case the VP reward for a game is lowered from 2 to only 1 VP. Also, the fact that, actually, noone keeps any ratings, at the moment, makes having a RIP on your account much less important.

Well my points was more that by allowing quit players to get ripped and changing their status accordingly then there will be a much lower percentage of games in which this happens (although it doesn't happen all that much in the first place). Anyway, i'm fine with it either way.

I agree with Saladin...

To RiP a player does take up resources especially in the early turns when every missile and army are crucial. How about a compromise on the ruling whereby if a playing goes M-3, all other players are allowed to still RiP that player if they achieve it before, say Turn5...

More VP's make happier players.
