As a default it takes 8 workers to produce one EFF and that is the case in this group. The reason why you're confused is that in Eg's Battleground game it was changed to 6:1. Game Masters can do that to intorduce some changes to the game play, but they always state that in the houserules. In this group all ratios are at the default levels and these can be found in the manual.
Hope that helps.

Ummm I'm having a continual problem accessing WoK and even when I manage to log in here every single sub-page I access is incredibly slow.
Where-ever possible I leave inputting my orders until the last hour to check my messages for any new NAP offers, with this in mind I am having major problems getting my orders in on time as it takes forever to input all required data...
Is there anyway I can avoid this hold up as it's hugely frustrating and very time consuming...

Egbert, I thought you said you'd traced the problem, maybe I dreamed it...
Sorry to sound like a technogeek, but firefox works fine on the site (I always hated it when Al and Rune pushed firefox, but the harsh truth is that it does work very well, once you get used to the differences...)
trewqh: you can even send in blank orders at first, just to avoid going M-1. - No one will know that they're blank of course!
Chris.
