Profanity about Fredo turns into suicidal orders? Man this new online manager is advanced!! It is constructed by a German so I guess it is what you could expect. Is there a BMW engine in it? Produced in the Ruhr-area?

I havent tried not to place an order at all. Is attacking Poland in turn 01 set as default?

Ooops DONT MENTION THE WAR! I just did but I think I got away with it.

But, to our defence. The NAP we signed with the allied side in that war didnt include that you couldnt let others through. We gave you some spyinfo we had on Denmark as a "I'm sorry gift".

Quite right. And my country (UK)'s plan in that w.., er, game, was to waste our start-armies, look as if we were no threat to win, then nap and ally with the strongest player in the game, and rely on HIS missiles and armies... But our spyings came good [Enigma].

And there's this sabotage POP order that players rarely use. Poland got hit by that one... Not to mention 20% POP loss when being invaded... Our leaders said there's no point in LEVelling armies...

An actually we were the ones who produced the successful Allied spies (polish mathematicians cracked the code then designed and constructed the first Enigma code decipherer)

Yes, a very salutary thought.And I'd never heard that bit about it being Poles who actually cracked the Enigma code in Bletchley, under Alan Turing, but it sounds very plausible, so I'll believe it.

So, American armies and missiles, Polish spying .....hmmm, what does that leave GB with? Well, we cleverly surrounded ourselves with sea, and then made some great speeches ....

Pardon me, while I re-hijack this thread, back to the Caribbean WOK game....

Now that the game is almost over, I was wondering if the players could offer their feedback as to whether the parameter adjustments made the game better, worse, or made no difference. I was thinking of opening another game, and I wanted to know what I should do with the parameters. If anyone else wants to chime in about this, please be my guest.

Yep, I think those were FDR's exact words! .....and he was right ... and he sorted it out. IMHO, we europeans should still be rather more grateful than we are, but that's shading too much towards the serious. So

That's a popular misconception. A group of Polish mathematicians, led by Marian Rejewski, broke the code in late 1932 (or early 1933 I'm not sure). They shared the discovery with UK and France in July 1939. But it was mainly British intelligence who put the invention to good use at Bletchley, deciphering German messages. That's why I said Poland produced the spies which the UK used successfully

I'll also gladly explain why Poland not levelling armies is funny if anyone wants me to.

It does off course allways suck to win a game where half of the people quite rather than fight it out. Also it was a shame that you missed a crucial turn D.
Not that I wouldn't have won it all anyway.

That turn was actually crucial. Not saying I would have won but I felt I had the upper hand over you there Fredo before that turn.

Btw, did Mr.Teacher have a few sherry's earlier? Two misspelled words in one short post? That is usually my thing to do.
