Hmmm... I put orders in for Turn#1 in Stephens game, about 7-8 hours before the turn was due. Even saw (as confirmation) the sum-up of all orders after I clicked on the "Send" button - note: there REALLY should be some message like "Your orders have been sent and will be processed for the next Turn." or whatever.

Result from Turn report: "Dark Monk does nothing."

Gotta be kiddin' me.

Missed Orders

Warped Angel & Al

looks like the problem is in how I entered the player names when setting the game up.

I know that it does not like Dark Monk and wants me to call you gm_al. I think this is why your orders were rejected.

Warped Angel- It is possible that your name is also not being accepted. I think I may have had to type in your name manually, and I suspect that it might not match the format that WOKON uses.

You could say this is my fault.

I will try and get Chris to look at this for me.

I do not know if a rerun is possible. It may me starting from scrtach.

I will try and get this sorted somehow.

Sorry

Hmmm... I have a hunch...

Yep... I'm right...

Protput, you can rest easy... you're not the only one to do this now.

Al you dope :P (I've been waiting so long to do that). You sent orders into Suburbia for turn 17. Pretty sure you've been dead in that one for quite a while. I only looked at the attack orders and they are similar to your situation in Stephans game.

PS: I just found out that it is really easy to vomit after you've had loads of alcopops (very sweet). (Last night in Oxford)

Alcopops? That is about as manly as Zima. What are you? German?

Oh dear oh dear, I really should stop posting on the boards when I'm drunk.

Alcopops are indeed not very manly but in the end you are happy to drink anything if other people pay for it.

Which automatically raises the question, who bought the alcopops?

They are these sweet bottled drinks for forteen year olds, e.g. Smirnof Ice / Bacardi Breezer etc.

They usually have an alcohol content of about 5% (from added vodka etc.), the rest is basically sugar water (coloured to make it look better).

In Germany these drinks became very popular with very young people (13-15) because you can hardly taste the alcohol. Subsequently they introduced a new tax on these drinks making them about 60% expensive (which did reduce the consuption to some degree, but companies are finding more and more ways around the new tax...)

In Denmark they have Alco-popsicles. Yes, your instant visual picture of this is correct. Frozen ice-cream on sticks with 5-6% alcohol in them. Developed mostly for people to be able to bring to situations where you arent allowed to drink alcohol.

Resolution soon

All

Hope to have this game back in action, soon

Chris has managed some investigations.

We are still trying to figure out if anything has gone wrong.

Just need to clear up 1 or 2 more questions and then we can get the ball rolling again.

Sorry for the delay.

Believe it or not, none of those "malternatives" have any of their namesake spirits in the mix. They are malted barley and sugar based fermented beverages. In fact, they are cheaper to produce than beer, so any higher tax on them is a joke.
