Just to add to the fun, Han ... Donut's actually from Iowa, and just happens to be attending school in Wisconsin. The statisticians tell me that when he travels back home for a holiday, he raises the average IQ level in both of those states.
I grew up in Wisconsin and just happened to move about 50 miles west of the border to live in the "big city" for the past 10 years. At this point in my life, I like to mix Wisconsin's interesting combination of progressiveness and backwoodsitude with Minnesota's socialistically high quality of life.
Can't wait to meet up with all my 'scony buddies in the Wisconsin northwoods in a couple of weeks for our annual fishing trip (which contains more tripping than fishing these days). Best of both worlds, really.

My father was on his deathbed. I went to be with him. I fitted in 10 minutes to throw some orders in and pass to a clanmate if I wasn't back. I even found time to tell Raw/GM Ryan why I might be absent, before I took the train.
Days later, my clanmate in the game asked GM Raw for an extension of just 2 days till I'd be back to take up the reins on this complex plan I had had us working towards for turn 11 ....GM Ryan/Raw ran the turn and started his commentary with "I don't want to be a jerk, but I'm not granting this extension." The jerk! The unfeeling jerk. Lowest of the low. Most GM's grant ANY pre-requested extension of a day or two. I did when I GM'd. And Raw didn't, in a case like that! Hey, it's not the game (about my lowest poriority at the time), but what it says about Raw, what he added to the week. The jerk. I think of my father, I think of the jerk Raw. (So, no, it's not about his nap-breaking in a different game, it's mainly about his GM'ing in that game.) He added to the pain, the jerk. But other people were comforting, thanks.

Gotcha! You fell in to my trap. Wooohahahaha! You use "Hannibabble" in your sig, as a quote fron Donut quoting you, as if it's YOUR invention. But now, above, you are actually claiming it as YOUR invention! Gotcha!Raw wrote:

I have no probs being called Hannibabble; I think it's a clever put-down. Except: I invented it MYSELF, against myself, and used it several times, starting from March 13 2004 post on the "Suggesting a new VP awarding system", on the WOK4 forum. Take a look. And several times elsewhere.
So, your sig, and the above bald claim, claim that you invented it about me!! No, you just copied it, cos it was good. It's MY name for myself, not your or Saladin's invention (I'm sure Saladin only borrows it because he thought YOU came up with it, as trickily implied in your sig).
Come on, Raw. Who could possibly think you would be that verbally dextrous? You who admit to "I hate typing", and can't read past one paragraph? You just ain't clever enough to play with words like that! You could write your vocabulary on the back of a postage stamp, with marker pen, on a stamp from the Royal Lilliputian Mail!
So, I've "accepted the name you gave me", have I ? To give you the benefit of the doubt (!), you just might have heard it and used it, not realising that I created it myself, but even then you should not lie and claim you invented it!! (Just so unlikely!) Want more?

You crack me up Han(nibabble). What makes you think that I didn't call you that before March 2004....? I think the first time you posted I was sitting with Bryk at work and said he should be called Hannibabble for his story long posts.Hannibal wrote:Gotcha! You fell in to my trap. Wooohahahaha! I guess next time I'll get a patent on it and then mail it in with my postage stamp worth of vocabulary.
I wish I knew we were playing a trap game....I woulda set a plate of brain and human flesh out for you. Or would you prefer a Donut naked in bed?

Typical verbal perfection from Raw!Raw wrote:pwnd or served I prefet.
Geddadahere!! You expect anyone to believe that you, of all people, came up with "Hannibabble"? That's MY invention. Same guy who came up with Raw-Nerve for you, the AlMighty for Al, AlFie for Allister Fiend, MadOne for Dameon, PS for TK (Patroni-Sing instead of Thin-King), etc. and a limp Sally for Saladin (but it managed to rile him!). Note I never have a go at newbies.
And I came up with "Hannibabble" soon after I joined. Always ready to treat myself the same way. And I've proved I said Hannibabble way back in March 2004. And you expect anyone to believe that you ("I hate typing") came up with it earlier than March 2004, but only started using it from March 2005 ??! Gedaddahear! A patent lie. Your post is redolent (look it up) of "You can't prove otherwise so I'll claim what I like". Obviously made up. You wish you were that verbally dextrous!! Any fair-minded person looking at this thread will see you lied about inventing it!
You look like a pathetic liar, borrowing wit! Want more?

Where do you get me using it for the first time in March 2005? I know for a fact...and Donut will back me on this one....that I used it before that. I started my new job in March 2005, and I know that I used it way before that.Hannibal wrote:Typical verbal perfection from Raw!Raw wrote:pwnd or served I prefet.

This is a stupid arguement.
Either way, I guess I don't care. If that name is taken I'll give you a new one.
I think I am going to call you beyotch from now on. It seems that is all you know how to do.

I guess you mean "argument". This is not a Brit vs American thing, it's just wrong in both. You're American; I would never criticise use of English from someone for whom it was their second language!. (Confess it's your second language, Raw, and I'll exempt you! .... maybe it is .....) But it goes to our argument ....... And you expect the rest to still believe you are verbally adroit enough to come up with Hannibabble, my own invention you copied? Gedardaheer! No chance!Raw wrote:

And, yes, it's a stupid argument/arguement. Particularly from the POV of the loser! I just first picked you off on this one: it undermines your credibility on anything you say from now on, as we go on to debate the other points you raised!! Want more?

This argument is aggrivating the crap outta me! Not because it's stoopid (but it is that as well), but because you're not arguing about anything. Who cares who used it first? If the shoe fits... Who cares if he misspelled argument (it comes from argue so its not like he's a complete idiot). I don't think you've reduced Raws credibility any more than he does purposely; but your are killing yours by carrying on with absolutely ridiculous "slams."
If you guys are gonna argue, at least throw around real mud, none of this friggin "You misspelled this word; therefore, I am the winner."
