I partied for a solid week in Krakow a few years ago and not once did I meet someone named Mike. I did see that guy with the trumpet however.
Oh, and quite a number of gypsies. I never stopped to ask for their names.
Also did pay a visit (sober) to Auswitz (sp?). Some heavy stuff man.
Never stayed at the Cristal though.
Some typos, some imprecisions, but still quite amusing.

I just got a message from Lakers that he's going to be away until May the 13th. Unfortunately he did not get anyone else to send his orders in for him. (Maybe he didn't know he could do so, and it's too late for me to tell him about this)
Is there any chance that we could set the deadline for turn 3 next week? Or are the turns going to be 72 hours apart no matter what happens?

Donut has a pause button. At the moment, Lakers could only get someone else to send orders for him by telling that person his password. I'll have to think about that...

You might have meant that in your post, but I'll ask anyway since you didn't write it:
So the GM is not able to change the orders of players in any way? Can't he somehow 'apply' a set of orders that he gets through e-mail?
(I'm just curious about WOKON technicalities, since there's no way Lakers will choose a substitute sooner than 13/5)

The GM can view all players' turn reports and orders, and also edit the orders, so using the good old AOF a substitute could send orders to a GM to enter. What I meant is that currently a substitute can't enter orders for a player through the lobby, which would be preferable. The same goes for viewing the turn report in order to write the orders.
The GM has the option to change the player who is in a slot, but that would cause issues with Ratings and VPs if the game ended while the substitute were still playing...

Just sending the orders via mail to the GM sounds like a good solution.
I do hope extensions are a thing of the past with WOK-ON, i would really hate to see a lot of rounds getting delayed because there's always someone who can't make the deadline.

Lakers talked to me like 2 days ago. He will be away for
Turn 3 and has asked for an extension on turn 3. The deadline will be moved from Tuesday to Wednesday. No worries

I think any decent guy would ignore you Raw as long as you're still 'rocking out'.
No wonder Donut is the only one who'll still talk to you.

Hmmmm ... I still talk with Raw too -- especially his real-life persona ...
But at least I've now confirmed that I'm not a "decent guy" in Sal's eyes.
