Test Game
Well, we're coming to the end of what errors Donut and Xarfei can find by random chance, it seems like it's about time to kick off a test game in WoK Online. I still need to update a couple of asthetic things, but if people could put their names here if they'd be willing to play then hopefully we can get something going by Monday.
Turns would probably have a very high turnover - there's no need for strategy here, we're just putting the engine through it's paces so if you can mention what time(s) you're online a lot that would be helpful too.

TK: I think Donut was talking to Dameon...
Everyone: the first WoK Online beta test will kick off tomorrow!
Playing in the game will be
GM Al,
Mullog,
korexus,
Xarfei,
Donut,
Brykovian,
Lardmaster,
Raw,
Validon.
There is one space left if someone wants it, but 9 players is enough for testing. Post here if you want the last place!
I will email each player their personal link to their turn reports, the game will start at, umm, hpw about 8pm GMT on Monday? (Today)
There is a prize available, there is a bug in the spying script which sometimes causes an order to be ignored totally, if you can find out what causes this bug you will be added to the WoK hall of fame (along with Donut and Xarfei) of people who obviously have such boring private lives that the'll spend hours online testing a programme another person wrote! (Just kidding, guys. I *REALLY* appreciate the help you've both given!!)
Hopefully the testers can find any other problems, and because of the time difference between them, I think I'll run turns only once or twice a day. Then players can enter orders and see if there are any problems, then mail me so I can fix them. Then I run the next turn and so on.
There have lready been many updates, which I hope everyone will like, including colour coding of the fight reports to make them easier to read. I expect many more changes before we finish testing though. To keep you intersted, here is the most recent version of a turn report. (Until Donut messages me with another 'suggestion' anyway...)

Suggestions welcome!

Just a working idea. I just stole the mainpage and plug in a TR and then added some colors. I think it'd be cool if the game could remain as much in the main site as possible. Any ideas/complaints?

I have complaint! It's hard to implement!!!
Now look what you've done. People who were happy for years with their simple turn reports will now want coloured backgrounds while they read. Before you know it they'll be wanting to set their own personalised WoK themes (and probably have semi-nude women dancing at the edge of the window as they read their reports!) You've opened a whole can of worms here... And, did I mention? It'll be hard to implement!!

Excellent color scheme, and fits VERY nicely into the look of the site overall. PLEASE chris give this a try, I really like it a lot. And keep the colors as suggested (Chris and colors - thats a loong story *LOL*)
PS: the two columns too far to the right now only show up in the overall stats (at the start and end of a turn) if this helps...

Still prefer a text file though.
