Hey Egbert! Or Chris! (or me...)

I didn't get any email this turn either... It's not much of a problem since I check the Lobby every 15 minutes, but could it be a bug?

A bug you say? In the supreme system of Wookie?? Noooo, it cannot be! It was designed by an Oxfordian.

Yes, but a Norwegian had a hand in it...

*Chris now gets to do some real talking down to Rune.*

Have you checked the correct mail address? According to the database turn notifications should be being sent to runegri@start.no. Also, have you looked in your junk mail folder. It may be that the notification is being indentified as 'spam' if so, please add the kaomaris.com autogm to your whitelist. If both of these fail, I suggest you contact your closest WoK-On support assistant for more information. Your closest assistant is Mullog. He's a nice enough chap and apparently has a lot of time at the minute. - I hear he's been checking the Lobby every 15 minutes or so, so I'm sure he'll be glad of the distraction!

*Ok, that's the cynicism out of the way for a while...*

Has anyone received notification of the turn recently?

Chris.

You would be great in tech support! You forgot to ask if I had remembered to turn on my computer, if I was sure my computer was connected to the internet and if I am sure I was looking at the right side of my monitor...

I think I have found a BUG!

If anyone would like an extension of time for this turn, just post here.

I'm just curious.
According to the WOK manual and my best knowledge, for what that's worth, you can only steal population from a neighbouring province. Yet on turn 1 someone stole pop from my province 29 which is neighbouring noone.

It might have been "the others" (anyone watch Lost?)

I think the more important question is here, who steals pop? I mean, really?

Fredo: Sabotage and Steal missions can be done long range as of automated WoK. This was included on the list of changes and in the WoK-On manual. Unfortunately, the rules link on the Standard WoK menu points to the old rules. The one in the Lobby is correct, http://www.kaomaris.com/WoK-On_Manual.htm if you want an easy life. I'll try to get that sorted out when I get home...

Rune: I don't suppose you want to look for the bug? Didn't think so...

It definitely used to work, I'll try and have a look when I get some time...

Hey Chris! The turn ran automatically --- I didn't have to push any buttons. What's up with that?

I gave someone a 4-hour extension, but did not change the due date, figuring I would just push the "run turn" button 4 hours late. Luckily, the player got his orders in right before the computer automatically ran the turn.

:?

Hey, Egbert! It's an automated game. --- You never have to push any buttons once you've set it off! Great isn't it?! :D

If you want to give a player an extension you can either use the pause game button (to keep the next turn until you press a button) or the extend deadline button (to extend the deadline by a specified number of hours).

If everything goes horribly wrong, re-runs are available but we're doing well so far and hopefully the system is relatively simple...
