Some info, and a question, for the TKG

Post by Egbert » Thu May 29, 2003 3:04 pm

I presume the TKG is still the self-proclaimed keepers of Kaomarian records. However, on their website, I don't see any link to get to the records. So, the question is: Where are the records?

As for info, the current WOK Championship (aka "The Neverending Story") is providing new records as we go. For instance:

1. I managed to Level up several troops to 9.999, the maximum permitted, but as a result of an attack, their level actually went up to 10.099! Just ask Raw.

2. We are currently sending in orders for turn 32, and there is no end in sight.

3. We are about to enter June, which I believe is the record for the longest game (timewise), set by last year's Champs Game.

I can't think of anything else at the moment, but perhaps the other participants (or GM) can.

Levels can go over 9.999 temporarily, but will eventually be set back to the max level (this has happened before)

This game really is setting new standards. I think for the next champs we will need to set closer deadlines, or else we will have to wait another 6 months for a new Champ (or an old one) :D

Another thing to learn from it: games that can only have one winner take way longer to end. Watch that if you have any weird X-game idea in mind.

I've been running turns every five days on average, that's about the speed I move at most games. Four days when I can, though that's not always possible with my work schedule. I may even speed things up to three day deadlines in a couple weeks when I am off for the summer, we'll see.

Same thing for the Vice-Champs as we are approaching turn 35.

Def of 9.9 is not unheard of either...

Hrm

Well, I sort of gave up on the idea a while ago but that has to do with me getting tired of updating webpages. I will try to get my act together (unless someone else in my clan wants to take over)

/D.

If you get your act together I will directly link to the page from the main site.

*hint*WOK birthday*hint*

Lowest EFF makes no sense - everyone can have 1% EFF.

Highest Score - should be 'highest WOK4 score' / 'highest WOK5 score' - I think I remember a WOK5 score of over 22.000 btw

Highest level - interesting here. While it gets cut back eventually its possible to have it come over 9.999 for a short time. Someone would need to check on that - I can look up the code and see when this is done too. If this is done at the end of a Players phase it would mean you could do up to 7 attacks and keep that 10+ level after the first fight.

Armies killed in a turn - in battle ?

Love those 900+ missiles - just crazy.

I can beat the highest level one.

Dom's 2, Wok 4, turn 22 I got 10 armies up to level "%10.299" I think that was the highest I got them, would have to check through lots of turn reports to be sure though...

On the downside, Raw and Funty had huge armies in that game too, so I probably wouldn't keep the record anyway.

korexus.

PS, that was an X-game, does it count?

During the turn. As soon as you get to the end of a turn any overpowered armies get knocked back down to 9.999 and that's how they appear on the end of turn report.
