Can someone please advise what standard wok games have been completed since Jan 1 2008?

I am working on getting the VP Kaohalla back onto this site somewhere.

The revised kaohalla will track standard and advanced wok victory points (the "old" way).

2008 Kaohalla is here !

Gaz, do you have database access? If so you can do a search for games where the last turn which ran after a given date. If not, you really should and I can set it up for you.

Good work and thanks!

Great idea! :2thumbs:

I know none of my standard games finished this year either as a GM or as a player.

Btw, what's the criterion of being active on your list?

Guesswork :!:

Suggestions welcome on what makes a player active / unactive.

How about 3 months without visiting the site ?

Gaz

ps that assumes I can actually get that info from the database

pps Korexus - I do have access to the database. Just have not looked

Last few game results I can find:

GM Yon - Monster Island Duke gets 1 VP

GM Chris - Austria Hannibal & Ultyguy get 1 VP each

GM Dragonnette - Carribian BigJozzy gets 2 VPs

Pretty sure monster island actually finished in 07 but it does not appear in Dragonnettes figures so I will include it as the first game for 2008. (mute point anyway as Duke seems to have vanished).

Have updated the table.

Active players are those who have logged into the site since Feb 1 2008.

Have included the three games I mentioned in ealier post.

Can someone make this thread Sticky please (Korexus?)

Thread sticky.

Is the active status dynamic or based on when you made the list. - ie if an inactive player comes back does the status update?

All done manually at the moment. I will try to do an update after every finished game. Is 3 months too short a period to declare someone as inactive?

Xarfei has reminded me that I never posted the results of my advanced game here.

1.5 VPs to Xarfei, 1.5 VPs to Ultyguy, both of the Scholars.

Does this link lead to the current updated Kaohalla list?

I noticed that I supposedly have 10.5 VPs. From my memory, I won 2 Wok4 games and 6 Wok5 games = 11 VPs.
The "old"Kaohalle lists me with 9.5VP since which I got another 1.5VP from GM Chris game.

Don't want to be picky, just.... actually I do :D

Or is deflation already kicking in?

My "GM Wippo_TheUsualSuspects" has ended.

1.5VPs go to

1) BigJOzzy (Mercenary)

2) Smashface (The Circle of Nine)

Once again, congratulations to both of them!

I'll try to take a look over Christmas.

Would be nice to have a 2008 wok 4 champ.... How much work would be required to get the VPs up to date. Don't mind doing it if I can.

All played games are listed in the kaobase, so it's just a case of figuring out where Gaz left off and filling in the games since then. Not difficult, but I imagine it will be time consuming. Anyone who wants to is welcome to do it. - Though we will of course be suspicious if that person then comes top of the list. :P

Do I REALLY have 14 VP's? I guess at one time I was a halfway decent player at this game it has just been so long since I had that kind of time I don't remember.
I still think about trying to make a comeback but then something else comes up and I realize that I just don't have the time I used to.
Good luck to all of you and maybe I will see you in the 2012 champs.
As my children get older I hope to get more time for my gaming pursuits.
