My Avatar don't show up...

Post by ARBCO » Fri Sep 28, 2007 2:36 am

Hi guys,

A friend of mine, who goes by Tinker on here, directed me to the site with only great things to say about the game. It's Free!!! Just kidding...he said a lot of other great things too.

So...I read the rules and registered. I tried to load an Avatar from my PC, but it doesn't appear to be showing up. I just get the little white box with the red x that appears when an image won't load. The image is JPEG, 100 x 100 pixels, and 17.6 KB. Seems to meet all the requirements, I think.

Can anyone help me figure out why it isn't working?

Thanks!
ARBCO

You say that, but this one has been evading me for some time. The images are being uploaded to our server fine, but for some reason the <img> tag keeps breaking. I'll have another look today and see if I can fix it. [edit] Could you re-upload your avatar, so I can try and trace the problem? Cheers.[/edit]

Oh yes, and welcome to Kaomaris! :D

Fixed it (I think). Let's see how long it takes to break this time...

Welcome ARBCO. I look forward to gaming with you again.

For those who haven't had the "pleasure" of facing ARBCO in real life across a game board, let me warn you that you're in for some interesting turns!

That's a great picture, ARBCO. The lighting makes you look much better than in real life.

Hello Arbco ... Welcome to Kaomaris.

Now, if you play across a real life tabletop from Tinker now and again, then I can assume you're another maple syrup & hockey type guy, eh? ;)

I just want to add to the record that I like maple syrup.

So do it ... and hockey too. :) But I think Tinker (and, hopefully, Arbco) gets the joke.

Yeah...I get the joke...but it just so happens that I prefer pancake syrup over maple syrup (my parents raised me on the cheap stuff) ...and I'm probably the only guy living up here that doesn't follow hockey....lol.

Thanks for the welcome, though.
