I think that would cause Chris a different kind of tick. The nervous kind. The kind that leads to murderous rampages.

I thought ticks were something you got next to your sums or the things you put in boxes on mindless official forms.

Are we having an insect based wargame then? Says he wondering what everyone is going on about (except TB - I know what a nervous tick is and thats without looking in WIKI)
Now WHY did it do THAT!

When you all can't get on tomorrow, it's because I've IP blocked you. I know you won't be able to read this, but at least everyone else will see the consequences of your actions...

Species did rock. (Whatever LM says) and it will one day make a revival. Let's get EWOK sorted first though...

Your problem Lardy is that you actually have a life. For us nerds with constant internet access a game like species is great as you can play it all day every day. :D

Hrrrmmmm ... Where I'm from, ticks are these little arachnids that live in grassy and forested areas and love to stick their whole head in your skin and live off your blood ... oh, and they love puppies too.

Tick is also a large, blue super hero. :)

Did anyone have a zx spectrum? With it you got a game called Horizons. That was just like species except it was done like 25 years ago.

Mostly, they just sit there coldly and quietly until the digital number changes to the next minute.

Unless you're at my mom & dad's house ... theirs makes random bird calls at the top of every hour. :)

Did you know that when an electronic device has any kind of alarm (which is generated not played) it usually keeps ringing all the time only that when the alarm goes off the volume is turned up high enough for humans to be able to hear it without any artifical amplification? :P

My aunt and uncle are bird people, that bird-chirping-on-the-hour thing drives me freakin nuts.

Tbert-

I have the solution to that.

My wife has a clock that meows (like a cat) on the hour.

That will sort the birds out.

:D
