Celerian

Post by Celerian » Tue Jul 03, 2007 10:16 pm

So, I should explain myself, should I?

Give you all juicy details about who and what and where?

Ok then.

I'm a 21 year old college grad working as a software engineer. I adopted Celerian as my online moniker and have kept it so since I was around 8 years of age. I plan on changing my name legally.

I live in Ohio, enjoy playing games. I currently play Kingdom of Loathing, Star Kingdoms, Utopia, WoW and various others.

Any thing more is a learning experience on your part. Feel free to find some way to contact me. I'm sure I'll be around, and will eventually add more details about myself as I get to know you all better.

Saladin always asks that question. I am stunned that you gave what you did. Although WoW is one admission you may regret - we have a few recovering addicts here already (ie TBert).

All in all you will find everyone here friendly (even if a few have warped and twisted senses of humour). Generally harmless and mostly OLDER than you. I remember being 21 ... I think.
Now WHY did it do THAT!

If at first you don't succeed - give up and have a coffee!

Yes I am on the transplant list for a new sense of humour!

Well, I'm already thinking of you as Celeriac, but I guess Duke needs another root vegetable to keep him company...

Welcome to our shores, Celerian. May you be fortunate in your battles, but not too fortunate (unless you're fighting for the Scholars)!

I have no idea what a Celeriac is.

A bit of WoW every once in a while is fine, but it's no good when you're spending 6 hours a night, 6 days a week, for a good 5 months of your life.

I've actually found a new addiction. Hearts of Iron 2. Warning, if you like micro-controlling every little bit of a WWII simulation, and you value doing things like leaving your house... don't try this game. That's all I'm sayin.

That is what we call a forum hijack. Back on topic. Welcome! You're going to need to join a clan to have a chance in your first few games. I'm not being mean, all I did in my first game was sit in my home province and let my population build up until somebody came along and bombed me into oblivion. I haven't seen anybody else do that... ever.

Sort of a cross between celery and a potato.

Celeriac? Always this with the weird british vegetablenames. Why would anyone want to cross celery with potatoes?

Well welcome Celeria...eeeh Celerian *I'm all confused now*

There is not a single soul here with a warped and twisted sense of humor. The Irish are long gone and so is Raw so you are all safe here.

*elbowes Vortan*

Like I said. All safe. :deal:

You can tell somebody is a culinary arts major. I couldn't even find nutmeg in our spice cabinet.

Software engineer? Great!
You should report to Korexus immediately. Do you know php? If you don't you should start reading asap... :)
