Important! Read before joining a new game!

In the past couple of days, I have had two game applications from unknown players. I know that GM Han has had at least one of these too.

Therefore I would like to make the following Public Service Anouncement.

******************************************************
* .If you are not logged in, the site does not know who you are.. *
* ....you need to log in before using the apply to game button!....*
******************************************************

You can, of course, send an email to the GM asking to join instead. You'll need to say who you are in that too though...

Thankyou.

GM Chris.

[Edit] Bryk's solution has now been implemented. This should no longer be a problem.[/edit]

Maybe add this to the guide?

Bryk has suggested only showing the apply button to players who are logged in. And instead showing a login/register link to 'guests'. It's almost as though he knew something about games and programming!

Delete thread to avoid confusion? I'll do it myself tomorrow unless someone objects or beats me to it.

The thread does mention that people need to log in before applying, extra copies of the info can't hurt...

Don't mind really, the thread has served its purpose now.

Maybe you could make the message from the first post appear instead of the 'apply' button for the not-logged-in and then we could delete the thread? :)

Wait... You didn't have this before? I thought this was fixed a long time ago?

Maybe you forgot to tell us you had a solution for it.

I think that was back in the still testing days... So I think it took a back burner to everything else.
